I really think his name is JOE

I've posted this already in another topic, but I think it's worth to look at.
IMO there are 2 things possible:
1) He was born as Michael JOE Jackson
2) He was born as Michael JOSEPH Jackson, but changed his name into Michael JOE Jackson. Which I don't think, because he was too young to change his name during Motown era.
In both ways, his name on the DC has to be JOE, and not JOSEPH like it says now...
His DL and passport both say JOE.
Please read:
Birth Date and Legal Presence and True Full Name Requirements
Why Is DMV So Careful About Identification?
The issue of identification—its reliability, integrity, confidentiality, etc. —is of prime concern to all citizens. The eligibility for government services, the issuance of various licenses, the assessment of taxes, the right to vote, etc., are all determined through evaluations based on identification documents.
It is critical that identification documents and systems be authentic and accurate in order to positively and uniquely identify each individual. The California legislature has declared the California driver license (DL) and identification (ID) card as the primary identification documents in this state. California state law requires that all applicants for an original California DL/ID card submit proof of legal presence in the United States (U.S.) as authorized under federal law. Your true full name, as shown on your legal presence document and/or your name change document, will appear on your DL/ID card. These requirements help safeguard the accuracy and integrity of the documents issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
Do You Need to Replace Documents?
If you need to replace or obtain your birth date/legal presence document, refer to the Vital Statistics information on the outside panels or <!-- m -->http://www.vitalrec.com<!-- m -->. Immigration-related service and benefit functions of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) transitioned into the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The customer service phone number and website for USCIS is listed on the back panel.
Identity Requirements For an Original DL/ID Card
When you apply for an original California DL/ID card, you must present:
•An acceptable birth date/legal presence (BD/LP) document(s).
•An acceptable true full name document if the name of your BD/LP document is different from the name on your DL/ID card application.•Your Social Security number (SSN). It will be verified with the Social Security Administration (SSA) while you are in the DMV office. You must also provide verification of your SSN to change an existing SSN on DMV’s date base.

(if there really is a dead man...) <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: -->
i saw a video of he saying or writing Michael Joseph Jackson with 7 years. and i saw a video of TMZ (again!) answer to a fan (or a lot of fans) question about this and they say: HIS LEGAL NAME IS JOE!
Do you know what video it was? Because I don't believe that he was born as Joseph. Why would daddy Joe sign Michael's Motown contract with Joe then?
I think he changed his artist name into Joseph around the period that he 'fired' Joe. He was struggling with his identity, he said there was a vague boundary between his private life and his life as an artist, and that's why I think he changed his name.

Thank you Mo for posting. I've never seen the second part.

L.O.V.E & LOVE ALL THE WAY!
I think bouth versions are legal!
-Dangerous court case:

- verdict announcement:

Well, it's very simple.
In the first case (Dangerous) he's involved as Michael Joseph Jackson, the artist, and in the second one as Michael Joe Jackson, his private and real name.
Wow, I never thought of it that way, but you might be right!
Hmmm...now that's an <!-- s:idea: --><!-- s:idea: --> (In the light of which, the video where TMZ addresses the question regarding "Joe versus Joseph" makes more sense too!) Tks, MJJ1982; much appreciated <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->
L.O.V.E & LOVE ALL THE WAY!
but then, way the FBI files state him as Michael JOSEPH Jackson ... I still think that there is to much interpeted into the whole Joseph vs. Joe thing and doesn´t make so much difference which is where used.
Don't agree, they use the real name in court, as written on his legal presence/name change document/id, and never shorten the name. <!-- m -->http://fl1.findlaw.com/news.findlaw.com ... 004ind.pdf<!-- m -->
So there's no way that his real name is Michael Joseph Jackson, unless all the official documents that we've seen are fake (the ones with Joe on it), and that also would mean that Katherine didn't tell the truth. And I don't think that's the case <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->
You shouldn't consider his life to be the fan's life .. wether it was a fake or true marriage isn't your bisuness , I don't think you would like anyone to judge your marriage ...
sorry i had to write that ..
I'm not saying his marriage wasn't real, but I think he kept his private things private, and his public (artist) things public.
If you would read all my posts considering this topic (yeah and I didn´t write many in this hoax forum by the way!) you would see, that I am saying that the whole WHICH NAME DID HE USE??? doesn´t matter to me!!! and I think they are both legal - after MJJ1982 went on responding to my post (thank you), I was just asking because he/she writes that the "real" Michael is only stateted with JOE not JOSEPH??? And don´t talk with me like that - because I´m the last one who wants to now every private thing of Michael!!! Gosh it was just a statement of me, that I don´t think this JOE vs. JOSEPH thing is SO relevant! Others here in the topic are more nosy than me about all the legal papers of Michael!
Thank you, I think this was my last post in this forum <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: -->

I have signed my name with just my first and last, then with my first, middle and last and then also with my first, middle as an initial and then last. So 3 ways.
I think it is definately Joseph but sometimes he went by Joe. After all Michael said himself that he called his dad Joseph because he wanted to be called that (acting like a big man, you cannot call me dad or daddy)
May I ask you what things you've signed in 3 different ways?
Because I think it's clear which name appears on your drivers license or passport:
Your true full name, as shown on your legal presence document and/or your name change document, will appear on your DL/ID card.
And it's really not possible to use another name under oath in court.
Well iam not married but i have signed cheques differently does that count?
My driver's licence has just my first and last name but i have used my middle initial on say my
SIN card number and other things. Bank accounts i use my first, middle and last name.
Sometimes i prefer to use just the initial in my middle name other times i will use the entire middle name. Even when purchasing something like a car or whatever
When i have signed my name on a credit card receipt sometimes i use the full name and sometimes not and never been questioned.
Never been to court so dont know about that
I also own registered animals i put them in my name using just middle initial but other times i leave it out.
My birth certificate however shows my entire name - first, middle and last
Does this make sense?
I use 3 names on my stuff and consider it all legal. Maybe it is more lenient in Canada?
This comes from the website of the government in California:
Your true full name, as shown on your legal presence document and/or your name change document, will appear on your DL/ID card.
So maybe the rules where you live are different?
I was once in court (as a victim) and they asked my true full name, as shown on my birth certificate. I live in the Netherlands, but it works worldwide like that. I've never seen that they used a deterioration in court.
