If this is true, I get what she's saying. Cousins & friends are two different things, they can't just hang around their cousins forever, it's important at their age that they have some friends & the only way to make friends is to go to school. Being stuck in the house with nothing but family will start to be unhealthy for them & their development, it was great when they were kids but Prince & Paris are becoming teenagers, they need to learn how to get along in the world, they can't be sheltered all of their lives. & I would understand Paris wanting to hang pictures of her dad in her room, she can't see him anymore so she wants to at least see his pictures, if I had lost my dad at her age I probably would do that too just to see his face so I don't forget it. & Michael has said before that his kids are really into movies, so idk this article could be real even if he is alive. It could be hard for them if he is in hiding & they can't be with him, that would be hard for them considering they were with him everyday. It makes me sad but it doesn't make me lose hope. Also Katherine's book is to share memories of her son with the world so that they can see the side of him she knew, it doesn't mean he's gone, as she said it's because "he was so misunderstood". I hope if they really are going to school that the family prepares them for unkind things about their father that they might hear, they have been protected from that if they are going to have to deal with it now, they need to be prepared so that they can handle it. I don't like the way I have to keep reading TMZ articles, in case there are 'clues', when they are exactly the sort of garbage MJ wanted us to avoid. I feel really sad now after a few much needed positive days.
I wrote the above last night, but woke up early this morning, happy with the thought that this is just another part of the performance! Make us sad before something really good happens (like when MJ smashes his head on the floor in 'Ghosts'). Hope I'm right.

and miss their father desperately ... this according to her first
interview since MJ's death.
Katherine tells the Daily Mirror, "They don't have any friends. They don't go to school, they have private lessons at home --
but that will change in September, when they are due to enroll
at private college."
According to the interview, the kids spend hours listening to
their dad's music.
She says Paris has turned her bedroom into a shrine to her
"Daddy" and that Prince and Blanket talk often about trying to
make him proud.
Katherine says she wanted to decorate Paris' room with
pictures of flowers or ballerinas -- but "Paris went into a closet
and she brought out seven or eight pictures of Michael, and she
told me, 'No, I want daddy hanging in my room'. So she goes to bed looking at
him and wakes up looking at him. She said, 'I always want to be able to see him.'"
Michael's mom goes on to say Paris is the most musically-inclined of the three and that Prince wants to
produce movies.
This new interview comes days before the anniversary of Michael's death ... and in conjunction with a new book Katherine is selling (pictured above) containing pictures and Katherine's memories of Michael.

Warner Bros announced a new Mortal Kombat is in development for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

New research has found exposure to violent video games can desensitize individuals to real-life violence. According to the investigators, this is first documented finding that video-games can alter physiological responses typically aroused by real violence.
Past research revealed that exposure to violent video games increases aggressive thoughts, angry feelings, physiological arousal and aggressive behaviors, and decreases helpful behaviors. Previous studies also found that more than 85 percent of video games contain some violence, and approximately half of video games include serious violent actions.
Nicholas Carnagey, an Iowa State psychology instructor and research assistant, and ISU Distinguished Professor of Psychology Craig Anderson collaborated on the study with Brad Bushman, a former Iowa State psychology professor now at the University of Michigan, and Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.
They authored a paper titled “The Effects of Video Game Violence on Physiological Desensitization to Real-Life Violence,” which was published in the current issue of the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology. GRAFENWÖHR, Germany — The Army has created a video game unit and will invest $50 million over five years on games and gaming systems designed to prepare soldiers for combat.
Lt. Col. Gary Stephens, product manager for air and ground tactical trainers at Project Executive Office — Simulation Training and Instrumentation said Thursday that the $50 million has been approved for a "games for training" program starting in 2010.
"The Army takes this seriously," Stephens said of PEO-STRI and its Army gaming unit, which will handle military video game requirements. "We own gaming for the Army — from requirements through procurement," he said.
Game development has become a multibillion-dollar industry in recent years, with large game studios employing thousands of developers and sales that compete with Hollywood’s blockbusters.
"We want to take advantage of that, but we don’t have the intent to become a competitor with the commercial gaming industry," Stephens said. "We don’t have the intent or capability to be a commercial game house."
Instead, the Army gaming unit will watch trends in the industry and identify technology that can be used for military training, he said.
The need for video games as training aids was judged so great that the Army wanted to get products out to units before the funding came online.
In addition to the $50 million, the Army gaming unit has an undisclosed additional budget to purchase a state-of-the-art commercial video game system that will be fielded for training in February.
The Army already uses a commercial first-person shooter video game — "DARWARS Ambush" — to train soldiers. Since 2006, PEO-STRI has fielded more than 3,000 copies of the game to the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Homeland Defense, Stephens said. Tetsuya Nomura is coming to E3, and it seems fans of his work don't have just Final Fantasy Versus XIII news to look forward to. According to an interview with Nomura published in the latest issue of Game Informer, one of the Kingdom Hearts projects he is working on will be unveiled at the yearly gaming expo. Nomura explains that this particular game "came into existence because we wanted to do something for the North American fans, so we’ll be announcing it at E3." In addition to the $50 million, the Army gaming unit has an undisclosed additional budget to purchase a state-of-the-art commercial video game system that will be fielded for training in February.
The Army already uses a commercial first-person shooter video game — "DARWARS Ambush" — to train soldiers. Since 2006, PEO-STRI has fielded more than 3,000 copies of the game to the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Homeland Defense, Stephens said.

US Military Recruits Children: "America's Army" Video Game Violates International Law

In May of 2002, the United States Army invaded E3, the annual video game convention held in Los Angeles. At the city's Convention Center, young game enthusiasts mixed with camouflaged soldiers, Humvees and a small tank parked near the entrance. Thundering helicopter sound effects drew the curious to the Army's interactive display, where a giant video screen flashed the words "Empower yourself. Defend America ... You will be a soldier."
The Army was unveiling its latest recruitment tool, the "America's Army" video game, free to download online or pick up at a recruiting station, and now available for purchase on the Xbox, PlayStation, cell phones and Gameboy game consoles. Since its release, the "game" has gone on to attain enormous popularity with over 30,000 players everyday, more than nine million registered users, and version 3.0 set for launch in September. "America's Army" simulates the Army experience, immersing players in basic training before they can go on to play specialized combat roles. Most of the gameplay takes place in cyberspace where virtual Mideast cities, hospitals and oil rigs serve as backdrops for players to obliterate each other. As a "first person shooter," the game allows players to "see what a soldier sees" in real combat situations - peek around corners, take fine aim, chose weapons that replicate those actually used by the US Army.

Nomura to Reveal new Kingdom Hearts Game at E3

Tetsuya Nomura is coming to E3, and it seems fans of his work don't have just Final Fantasy Versus XIII news to look forward to. According to an interview with Nomura published in the latest issue of Game Informer, one of the Kingdom Hearts projects he is working on will be unveiled at the yearly gaming expo. Nomura explains that this particular game "came into existence because we wanted to do something for the North American fans, so we’ll be announcing it at E3." Nomura has said before that he is working on two more Kingdom Hearts games aside from Kingdom Hearts 3.

I agree! Katherine says Paris is most inclined but I also remember Michael talking specifically about Blanket. Plus remember Katherine also said Paris was a really good actress and that both Prince and Paris are into movies!
Plus we have heard countless times over the last year that the children love being with their cousins and we hear about them with friends all the time!
