    Wow. Amazing find! Thank you for this, OP. I knew that beginning part in This Is It seemed staged. They were definitely acting, and they were not very good at it I might ad haha. I remember mentioning this in the movie theatre but all I got in return were angry stares <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> . Can't wait to see what becomes of this.

    BTW, there were several principal dancers picked for This Is It who had already worked with Kenny Ortega productions. It's not like they were "unknowns who got lucky".

    I recall reading that several had worked with KO in the past. However, the auditions do lead us to think that these were random dancers who got lucky. Why did they have to audition? It wasn't like they had not been seen by KO for many years. C'mon if you met KO's standards once and recently would you really have to audition to prove yourself again. Unless... MJ was just that much of a hands-on person that he had to see their talent for himself.
    BTW, there were several principal dancers picked for This Is It who had already worked with Kenny Ortega productions. It's not like they were "unknowns who got lucky".

    Danielle Rueda-Watts -- one of the 12 dancers picked by Jacko -- won the Pole-A-Palooza competition at The Bank at the Bellagio in Las Vegas in both 2008 and 2009 ... and came in towards the top at the pole contest at Jet Nightclub at the Mirage in 2007.

    No word on if Michael is gonna pay her in ones.

    This is unbelievable! So, it is true that the dancers and the casting were staged from the very beginning. So, TII really is a movie then! <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) --> That explains MJ's speech near the end of the movie. When he looks directly in the camera and speaks directly to the audience.     sometimes you know ppl who will audition for parts in plays, movies, tv shows, dance teams, commercials, even jobs. even if he did know any of them, that does not make an audition fake. what if KO knew 25 good ppl, TP knew 25 and MJ knew 25? the only way to pick the top 20 ppl is to give them all a fair chance...
