I just gotta comment here .. Id never read any of the Megamind threads and i was always one for poo pooing the ideas of hints in adverts and films etc so i had no idea that the hoax relation to the magamind film existed ... i only knew about the film from playing farmville on face book .. tis true lol .. anyway ... i watched the film on dvd the other night and sat through the whole of it with my chin on the floor in shock!! every part of the film screamed Michael refrences and when Bad started playing at the end i was like NO Effin Way is this just a random coincidence (hmm spelling) the i was suddenly reminded of one of my very first posts on MJDH way back in the early days of June 09 when i stated i would sit back and wait for a film to come out directed or produced by some random director/producer that screams MJ to me ... i know not many will agree with me ... but this film alone without all that has gone on in this hoax is enough to convince me Michael is alive and has moved on the next step that he so wanted to in his life ... making movies <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

    Exactly! Perfectly said. <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

Ok this is an old post of mine about another movie reference. I would like you guys to read it and then watch the movie if you haven't seen it yet.
Okay everybody, pls don't jump on me if you don't see the things I saw in this film. This was amazing! Yesterday I watched this movie "When in Rome". Josh Duhamel is the lead actor of the film. As you know he's married to Fergie in real life. And I totally believe that Black Eyed Peas know about the hoax. Remember their performance at the Grammys and Will I Am worked with Michael. So, Josh Duhamel can be aware of the hoax too. ALSO there's a guest star in the film and that is Shaquille O'neal!!! Pls let me tell you what I found in the movie. I'm not going to tell you what the film is about BUT there're VERY interesting parts in the film like; They keep on using the words like "MAGIC" "BELIEVE" and "THIS IS IT" a LOT!!! At first I was like "this can be a coincidence" BUT later on it started to get weirder because there's a MAGICIAN in the film who looks like Chris Angel!!! And he keeps on sayin "MAGIC" and "MAGIC TRICK" in the film. There's more. There's a YELLOW CAB in the film with a plate : MJ 214N 214 2+1+4=7 N=Number So we have a Yellow Cab with a MJ 7 Plate <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> We all remember the Yellow Cab on Judge's desk, don't we? <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

And the places where they use "I BELIEVE" and "THIS IS IT" is very interesting. Let me tell you where they used these words.

Once they used "I BELIEVE" when they were wishing for the doors to open. They were passing through the doors of a building with the Yellow Cab and they all closed their eyes and repeat "I BELIEVE I BELIEVE" and the magician made his trick and the doors opened! If I need to explain this to you with the Film Grammer, this can mean: "If you believe, all doors can be open to you!".

And then they used "THIS IS IT" just before they enter a very dark resturant and the waiters are the only ones who can see the guests with their special glasses. So this can mean; Michael may want to say with this: "You can't see me BUT I can see you!"

Then they used "THIS IS IT" again when she thinks that her relationship is over, everything ended BUT it wasn't the END, it was the beginning! So This Is IT doesn't mean an end, it just represents the new beginning!

I'm trying to explain why and how the director and the writers of the film could use those words through Film Grammer. Film making and scriptwriting was my major at college and that's my job, so I wanted to tell you what they could mean in a professional way. I want you all to watch this film because you'll understand what I'm trying to tell you here. Here're the pictures from the film.

  • Michael J Pan is the production engineer for Megamind, Kung Fu Panda, Bee Movie, How to Train Your Dragon and Shrek 3rd. Did MJ become a production engineer?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Production_engineering
Production engineering is a combination of manufacturing technology with management science. A production engineer typically has a wide knowledge of engineering practices and is aware of the management challenges related to production. The goal is to accomplish the production in the smoothest, most-judicious and most-economical way.

Production engineering encompasses castings, joining processes, metal cutting & tool design, metrology, machine tools, machining systems, automation, jigs and fixtures, and die and mould design. Production engineering overlaps substantially with manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering.

In industry, once the design is realized, production engineering concepts regarding work-study, ergonomics, operation research, manufacturing management, materials management, production planning, etc., play important roles in efficient production processes. These deal with integrated design and efficient planning of the entire manufacturing system, which is becoming increasingly complex with the emergence of sophisticated production methods and control systems.

I have tried to find Michael J Pan (Michael Pan, Mike Pan) on myspace, facebook, twitter and google: Nothing <!-- s:shock: --><!-- s:shock: --> Tom McGrath is the director of Megamind, he had this to say about using "Bad" in Megamind:

Using the Michael Jackson track: was it difficult to get the licence for that?

I don’t know how we got it! [Laughs] I don’t know how they got them. I don’t ask questions if they say yes.

Who is giving out MJ's songs in the first place? Bad was written by Michael and Copywritten by Michael. I'm just as baffled as McGrath is (all but not really since Michael is alive and possibly apart of this movie, not only by plot, but behind the scenes. The production Engineer thing throws me off a bit though... I mean, I remember him always showing interest behind the scenes of Captain EO and other productions of his that require visual effects and engineering, but would he be interested in it professionally?

Michael J Pan is such a very interesting name. When I first heard of it, I couldn't find him anywhere else like Facebook and etc. So I do believe that MJ Pan can be a name that Michael uses. Is he a production engineer? I think he is more involved with the film than just a production engineer. Maybe he wanted them to write that he was a production engineer because it could be too obvious if they wrote "the director" or "the writer" etc. You know what I'm saying? It can be a little trick not to make it too obvious. And thank you for the research TheMoon. <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

Well, the name Michael J Pan started appearing since '07 and he's only named in eight movies. And its only in Tom McGrath movies <!-- s:lol: --><!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:lol: --><!-- s:lol: -->, either Tom feels really bad for this guy or there is much more to this. I can't find any relationships between MJ and Tom McGrath at all.It could possibly be a "Cascio" type situation, because MJ has many friendships that are never exposed to mainstream media. Brad Pitt plays Metro Man's voice, and interestingly enough is a fan of MJ (possibly more). How close, I cannot say, but they are both very passionate about humanitarian work <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->. Brad Pitt wanted to buy Neverland supposedly in 2007 when Michael had left for Bahrain. And Brad has also been very open about his looove for Michael before and after the "death day". I love the picture here because this was taken of Brad in 2005 during MJ's trial when it wasn't 'cool' to like Michael (which i applaud him for it <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> ), its cute and I have the same shirt in white: http://blog.ideeli.com/stylepeople/2009/7/1/brad-pitt-hearts-michael-jackson.html

Oh wow. I LOVE Brad Pitt but I've never ever heard that he was a Michael fan. And he wore that t-shirt, what a nice guy he is. Now I love him more. <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> Thank you for sharing this with us TheMoon. I learned something new thanks to you. <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> And I do agree with you about the Cascio type relation with MJ and Tom McGrath. That is so possible and Brad Pitt was the voice of Metroman. All so related.

The BEST clue though is in one of Michael's drawings.
