I don't see the connection between "I'm back" and the Bad tour on DVD.
  • I'd think that they're referring to MJ hitting #1 on the charts again with Hollywood Tonight, hence the "I'm Back" message as he's returning to prominence... But that has no relevance to Bad? <!-- scrash/ -->crash/<!-- scrash/ -->

And I want to remind you guys that Sony followed 777 people for 7 days on Twitter. <!-- smj_dance/ -->mj_dance/<!-- smj_dance/ -->
    I didn't know that ! wow

HT hit #101, I doubt Epic is proclaiming "I'm Back" in reference to that.

Something's building, "simmering", and we'll obviously have to "keep watching". Whatever it is I'm looking forward to it. Another record would of course thrill me! I really liked the BACK music video with all those song snippets! Interesting it's NOW this bloke Front decides to do his BACK mimic thing in the BACK thread, although a lock is just around the corner.

Maybe not if it's not relational and he just posts cryptic stuff. I think the problem with previous trolls has been the for and against following they have garnered. If we can stand back and be objectively scrutinizing, we may have a chance to play this time. Well, here's hoping anyway. <!-- styping/ -->typing/<!-- styping/ -->

Locking a thread would only acknowledge a troll's power over a forum.
I'd prefer deleting their posts when the cup is full.
Both would be sorting things out. The latter is keeping the forum clean in addition without hindering good discussions.
Just proposing (if feasible). What do you think?

The "'I'm Back" could be a simple typo mixing up with "'I'm Bad".
Folks doing the tech stuff are not always familiar with the content.
The worst "misunderstanding" example I witnessed were reporters for the funeral who did not know Michael at all but had to comment and published all crap you could imagine.
Not everybody knows what they are talking about. Unfortunately.

Yes so true..And it only takes one to start the for and against fights <!-- sargue/ -->argue/<!-- sargue/ --> . Ignoring seems the best solution, that's how troll's powers fail anyway, in case they're trolling.
Grace, i think you made a good observation.

Somebody on Twitter named mjsonly just tweeted this video

    [youtube:63wburqp]

Here is a capture of the image that flashes briefly throughout the video

    BACK-Video.jpg

The above image and the words KEEP WATCHIN are what the poster BACK used online. I don't know who the video uploader is, but some people commenting think it is BACK.

I asked in my first post in this thread about the date of May 13th. I just looked at the calendar and noticed it was a FRIDAY the 13th. Some think that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day...maybe Epic Records tweeting MJ's BAD video and saying "I'M BACK" was Michael's way of making it a GREAT DAY?! <!-- slolol/ -->lolol/<!-- slolol/ -->

    Love & Light

Carol aka Touched By An Angel

Carol, I find 21311KW's videos very interesting and I did think that he could be Back himself. But there're many posers around as well. So I can not be sure if that's really him. But even that's not Back, I still find his videos very insteresting.
And check what is written on the pic.

    ISSUE O7

Issue 07 could mean track 7 of Michael, which is Breaking News. Will there be breaking news??

    That's an interesting thought. hmmm...

I don't think so. MJ's official twitter account posted a Bad theme picture at the same time, those can not be coincidences and I do not believe they would write Back instead of Bad. Who doesn't know his song Bad on this earth and especially the ones who work for Epic records and makes the posts for them on Twitter? That's not possible imo. The song's name is not Back, it is Bad. Why would they write I'm Back by mistake? They would write Back only if that was a mistake.

Maybe they just name the link "I'm back" because it's a long time they didn't talk about MJ on their website.
For me it's just advertising for the Album Michael.

But I have to admit it's strange, and make hope, if we think it's MJ behind this. <!-- smj_dance/ -->mj_dance/<!-- smj_dance/ -->
Also, the Bad picture on the tweeter at the sime time it's strange and no coincidence. <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

But maybe it's all for advertising. (for the promotion of Michael and Behind the mask song with his videoclip soon).

They're sure aware of the impact. Nice way to promote <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) -->

I am not sure what to make of this. It sure seems to be just a nice way of promoting, but the word chosing is a little bit overlimit. But maybe I just look at it through my hoax eyes while the rest of the world would think it's just not literal bringing Michael's albums back to charts.
  • Wow very cool this keeps on getting interesting maybe we are getting close!!!

I hope, I really hope... because I can't wait while friends or family around me are making fun of me because I believe MJ is alive.
I just hope we're close to the end, to tell them "I told you so. <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) --> ". Also for Michael, to show to the world to not believe everything they see in the medias, and such all other things he wants to tell us thanks to this hoax and soon, I hope, the comeback. <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

Cameron I know you want to be able to do this some day but ....I don't know, I think it is not a good reason to want Michael back, to satisy our own pride of not being wrong about him being alive.

What if he doesn't come back, will you think less of yourself because you allowed yourself to be fooled with false hopes?

If he DOES come back I think you'll be too happy to even care to tell them "I told you so".

Maybe it's just building hype for tomorrow's announcement on June 7th?

Although, I have to agree, the official MJ Twitter feed posting a Bad pic and the Epic tweet with a link to the Bad short film is interesting, considering the official MJ site/Twitter already posted something on the day. Usually, it's one thing on any given day.

Tomorrow may hold a Bad Tour DVD announcement, or Behind the Mask video's release date announcement, some Cirque news, or new album news. Only a few hours to go until we find it. Definitely too soon for a Bam; my gut feeling.

He's back and he is bad now...he is starting to get "the bad guys" like Oxman.
  • I have been saying for a long time that the lyrics to "Bad" are significant to this hoax. If you substitute the word "bad" for "back" everytime, the song makes more sense. I also mentioned the possibility that BAD was intended to be an acronym, maybe for "Back After Death"...hence the all-caps. If you listen to the lyrics and keep the hoax in mind, the song really hits a whole new level. It makes sense too, because everyone noticed a "new" Michael Jackson when that album/song came out. He looked different, he acted different, he sang different (not completely, but you know what I mean). It is my belief that this was around the time when he started to break free from the control he was under...he started to take steps to gain full control of his life and music. The enemy fought back and tried to bring him down...but he had anticipated that because he knew how the industry works...so he planned ahead...aka...death hoax. I think of the song "Bad" as an introductory AND grand finale song to this hoax. "My friends you ain't seen nothin'...just wait til I get through." He also said in his Sony speech "the best is yet to come, and you ain't seen nothin' yet".........

    WHO'S BAD?! <!-- smj_bad/ -->mj_bad/<!-- smj_bad/ -->

I was going to comment how handsome Michael looks in that pic posted on the 1st page but i see that the thread is getting to another direction with once again the same common factor following the same pattern.

However, going on with my post, when I saw that pic my heart jumped. Michael looks like in the bad era but a bit older (or is just me influenced by a conversation i had earlier today. Koinkidink).

Going back to Epic would mean the end of Sony era? Could all this hoax be just for contractual policy? "Sony" Michael Jackson being free and back to Michael?

This week many interesting posts have been popping up. I need to read quite a lot to get in tune again.

That's very a interesting mini-theory. There's certainly something going on with the many references to Bad era Michael in this whole fake death thing. You also can't ignore the Sony involvement. Are they in on it? Are they being hoaxed as well? Stay tuned... it's a great story for sure.
