I looked everywhere, but I didn't see this posted, so I think I'm ok.
Lisa Marie asked if people could send one silk sunflower (I'm guessing because then it would never die). However, real sunflowers have been sent -- 1500 of them! According to sunflowerguy.com, cut sunflowers will last up to 2 wks, if properly handled. Well, they must have started out being handled properly, since it's none other than the sunflower specialist of L.A. that has handled them! LOL. Now it's up to FL to keep them hydrated. Anyway, if they were delivered this morning (May 14), they should last about 2 wks. Then they will die, and we are back to square one with an "empty" grave.
My point, perhaps something is going to happen within two weeks, if not by this Monday, before those flowers die. I hope!!!

This is a beautiful gesture. For some reason the magnitude of it makes me smile though my eyes are filled with teas. love does conquer all. And everything, all of it, is about love. It is so befitting. I can almost see Michael frolicking happily through a field of smiling sunflowers.
Looks like the wave of support has caught on. Everyone has changed their avatars to "sunflower" pictures. This really warms my heart. So now all the visitors to this site, can see just how much love there is here.
