Yes but ... TS can always say there's been a change of plan. He doesn't even have to lie - there CAN, ALWAYS, be a change of plan, can't there? 'Fake informer' can just mean that he informed us of something that was fake, i.e. had to be changed. You know what he's like with words.

Sorry, I know you're trying to help me out. :bearhug:
Yeah I do. Which is why I don't take a lot of what he says at face value.

But you gotta believe in something in this life. Solid Proof and the Gospel Truth are fleeting and flexible quantities you could live an entire lifetime in fruitless search of.

Sometimes you gotta just throw caution to the wind and go with a gut instinct in lieu of anything else to hold onto. My gut says we are close to the end. I chose to just go with it (today anyway).

I'll worry about tomorrow when it comes.
I must admit that my first reaction was a bit cynical perhaps because AEG won a postponement of the trial. Why do they need more time? :icon_rolleyes: :suspect: More preparation time? According to the questionnaire they want to know EVERYTHING (I'm surprised they're not asking for the times MJ used the bathroom or about his color of underwear :icon_rolleyes:)..

After the ruling, Jackson family lawyer Kevin Boyle said he could still seek a priority trial date, but suggested that the delay could actually help his clients.

“The way we keep obtaining more information, it might be beneficial,” he said.

...yet, I think that this info is good news ;D, because this could mean more time is needed and granted for the investigation which is running during this hoax, which is beneficial for Michael. Time for justice, truth will prevail!

L.O.V.E.

Is a very interesting news ..especially now that June 25 is approaching.... :icon_rolleyes:

Many things are moving ....after a silent period... :Michael_Jackson_dancing_smile :icon_geek:

Michael what you're preparing ? :moonwalk_: :icon_bounce: :bearhug:

I can't say that I'm a fan of these delays. Hopefully this trial is another fake like Murray's and it never happens. Hope MJ BAMS before April 02 2013.
I don't think this trial will happen, I don't think it's real. I think it's a lot of talk n hearsay contrived in the background for the hoax. I think it provides a good excuse for KJ and the Family to be tight-lipped about certain things they don't want to/can't discuss (example, KJ's CNN interview) while simultaneously providing a reason for MJ news to keep hitting the airwaves. I think it needed to be "delayed" to put it so far off in the future that it comes post-bamsday and will never occur.

Perhaps wishful thinking. I can't put my life on hold for another year.
I found this article re: AEG vs. Katherine Jackson and I thought it made no sense to start a new topic.
So I am posting this here.
New York doctor David Slavit is refusing to answer a subpoena about the clean bill of health he gave Michael Jackson just months before his "death"

Manhattan Dr. David Slavit is facing a court challenge related to a Feb. 2009 examination he did of Michael Jackson; an enterntainment firm being sued by the Jackson family says the doc has ignored a subpoena for records

The firm being sued by the Jackson family, AEG Live, used Slavit's exam to get insurance for Jackson's ill-fated comeback tour

BY BARBARA ROSS / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2013, 11:17 PM

mjaeg.jpg
In this photograph provided by concert promotion firm AEG Live, Michael Jackson rehearses at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on June 23, 2009, for his comeback tour. He died on June 25. AEG Live, which is facing a wrongful death suit from the Jackson family, has asked a Manhattan judge to demand that Park Avenue Dr. David Slavit comply with a California subpoena for medical records related to Slavit's Feb. 2009 examination of Jackson. AEG used the exam to get insurance for the tour.

A Park Avenue doctor who examined Michael Jackson months before his death is facing a court challenge from an entertainment firm that wants details about the checkup.
Lawyers for AEG Live — the firm that was producing Jackson’s ill-fated comeback tour — have asked a Manhattan Supreme Court judge to order Dr. David Slavit to comply with a subpoena issued in California.
AEG was hit with a wrongful death suit from the Gloved One’s family, who say the promoters should have known he was too sick for the stage.
AEG’s lawyers say Slavit’s February 2009 examination of Jackson is essential to their defense because it enabled the firm to get insurance for the concert series, which was supposed to start in London in July 2009. Jackson died of an overdose in June 2009.

AEG’s lawyers contend they have been trying for a year to get Slavit to sit for a deposition and share medical records from the exam. They say he canceled the first time they set a date for a deposition, court papers say, and that Slavit and his father, Leonard Slavit, a negligence attorney, have since put up a series of obstacles to establishing a new date.
“Despite repeated and tireless efforts to resolve the matter without court intervention, AEG has no choice” but to ask the courts to order Slavit to cooperate, the AEG lawyers argued in court papers.
Neither Slavit nor his father could be reached for comment.
Jackson’s personal doctor, Conrad Murray, who provided the medication on which he overdosed, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011. He is currently serving a four-year prison sentence.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/manhattan-doc-king-pop-related-suit-article-1.1269490?localLinksEnabled=false
“Dr. David H. Slavit, an ear-nose-and-throat specialist, based in New York City, administered Michael Jackson’s physical in February of this year, which the pop star reportedly passed. The physical report allowed Lloyd’s of London to issue the insurance policy on the pop star, under the name of “Mark Jones,” according to the Los Angeles Times, to AEG Live in relation to his London concert dates.”
http://michaelsguardian.blogspot.ca/2010/08/michael-jacksons-dr-slavit-and-aeg.html

So it's under a fake name, and why a ear-nose-throat specialist? When MJ's supposed problems were insomnia, drugs, weakness, etc.
  • kind of off topic: the other day my hubby was showing me an article ( and having a bit of a laugh) at these celebrity have insured their legs , noses and of course boobs.

this left me wondering why in the world michael would not have had something like this being he obviously had some things ( his dancing and vocal abilities) that some of these don't really have.

it just made me wonder, sorry for the distraction. :-[

He can’t produce records on Michael Jackson because he has none. Didn’t AEG ask for this previously and never received it? There is no way a policy can be issued in an assumed name and be legitimate.
  • Why would an ear, nose and throat specialist be hired to do a complete physical examination required to underwrite millions of dollars of performance insurance, and then use an assumed name. Heaven forbid anything should go wrong and the insurance be required to pay out. Nobody would be paid unless of course they could prove that Michael Jackson was the Mark Jones named on the certificate… which of course would be an admission of fraud. Robertson Taylor (AEG’s attorneys) had the same concerns or so they claim. But if they had issues with the expertise of the doctor chosen to do the physical, why did they not insist on another doctor before going forward? It doesn’t make sense to me.
  • You bring up a lot of good points, hes. It may be that they are just covering up a lie with another lie.........

Nothing about Michael's "death" has made sense so far, why should we expect anything to make sense now?????
  • wouldn't the insurance company have certain doctors that they worked with perhaps exclusively for this ?
  • It all depends on who the specific insurance company is. Some may have provisions included in their policy for the insured person to use a specific doctor only.
Others may not. But it is not common practice to use an ear, nose and throat specialist to do a complete physical on an insured as hes already mentioned in her post.
  • i can see ear nose and throat specialist being involved , but under the strenuous physical circumstances there would need to be more. interesting points about tii though we have instances of talking about using the earbuds and we have him talking about conserving his voice. and of course there is always constant focus on that nose from everyone. :icon_lol:

and we are talking about lords of lundon here i don't think you insure your average joe :icon_e_wink:

That caught my attention as well, a rather presumptuous statement that left the article hanging...

On another note, I wonder if "Exhibit B gonna rock that trial" as Front predicted. This trial, on the surface, is about AEG being negligent about Murray but I imagine a lot more will be revealed.

What I'm wondering is - if it comes out that AEG hoped to essentially de-fraud Michael by taking everything he had (Exhibit B of Michael's contract/letter of intent with AEG) if MJ failed to perform all the shows - will AEG be held responsible for that? Because that's not what the trial is about, it's supposedly about Murray. Is this a way to "protect" AEG from being liable for their part in trying to steal from Michael? But the damage will still be done because it will come out, everyone will know what they tried to do. I'm not sure how that works though, if a unrelated revelation is made during a trial that's about something else, can AEG be re-tried? Or is there a law that protects a defendant somehow? And is what they did in the contract technically illegal or not? I really don't know. And what if someone(s) else is implicated in the trial? Ah, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself here. I just don't know if AEG is going into this trial blind and oblivious to the hoax or not.

    other

Michael Jackson’s mom suing concert promoters

By City News Service, on February 25, 2013, at 1:37 pm

By BILL HETHERMAN

judge today issued a tentative ruling that Michael Jackson’s mother can move forward with her lawsuit contending that the promoters of Michael Jackson’s never-realized London concerts negligently hired Dr. Conrad Murray as the singer’s personal physician.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos said she also is leaning toward tossing aside all other claims that could hold AEG Live liable for Jackson’s death.

Defense attorneys had moved for dismissal of the entire complaint, saying that two years of litigation failed to show the company or its executives did anything wrong.

Palazuelos took the issues under submission and did not say when she would issue a final ruling.

The entertainer was set to perform a string of 50 shows dubbed “This Is It,” but he died on June 25, 2009, at age 50, of acute propofol intoxication at his rented home in Holmby Hills while rehearsing for the concert series.

Katherine Jackson sued in September 2010 on behalf of her son’s three children, Michael Jr., Paris-Michael Katherine and Prince Michael, claiming that the company picked Murray to be pop star’s personal physician.

Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson’s 2009 death and was sentenced in November 2011 to four years in the Los Angeles County men’s jail.

AEG Live attorney Marvin Putnam maintained his clients never hired Murray and that he, in fact, had been one of many doctors who had treated the singer in the past.

He said after the hearing that he was pleased with the work Palazuelos did in preparing her tentative ruling and that he was hopeful she would conclude that the negligent hiring claim also should be dismissed.

Plaintiffs’ attorney Kevin Boyle declined to comment after the hearing.

He said during arguments that AEG Live, in allegedly hiring Murray, gave little consideration to red flags showing that the doctor was in debt and was not a board-certified cardiologist.

Putnam said most doctors are not board-certified and that the fact that he was in debt was irrelevant.

Putnam also said Jackson had a drug problem for years before he entered into any agreements to perform on behalf of AEG Live.

Palazuelos also said in her tentative ruling that she is leaning toward dismissing Timothy Leiweke, AEG Inc.’s president and chief executive officer, and that company as defendants.

Defense attorneys maintain AEG Inc. and AEG Live are two separate entities.

Boyle maintains that the two companies’ interests are intertwined.

Leiweke stated that he had preliminary talks with Jackson and his manager in the fall of 2008 about a potential tour deal.

He said he did not talk with the singer about any medical treatment and that he never had any conversations with any of the entertainer’s physicians.

“I never met or communicated with Dr. Conrad Murray,” Leiweke stated. “To my knowledge, no other AEG Inc. employee or agent every met or communicated with Dr. Murray either. Given that I never communicated with Dr. Murray in any way, I certainly had no role whatsoever hiring, training or supervising Dr. Murray.”

The tentative ruling would keep Paul Gongaware, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Concerts West (a division of AEG Live) and AEG Live President and Chief Executive Officer Brandon Phillips in the case, which is scheduled for trial April 2.

Gongaware stated in his sworn declaration that he never told Jackson or any of his doctors what medications the singer should take.

“At no point did I ever require Jackson to take propofol,” Gongaware states. “I had no idea Jackson was taking propofol until after I learned how Jackson died in press reports. I had no suspicious whatsoever that Dr. Murray was giving Jackson propofol.”

http://www.swrnn.com/2013/02/25/michael-jacksons-mom-suing-concert-promoters/

Yes, but the evidence from CM's docu, shows that Randy Phillips and Kenny Ortega HEAVILY pressured MJ and CM to make sure MJ got to rehearsals. And evidence (Exhibit B) shows that they may in fact have wanted/expected MJ to fail, and that the contract is HEAVILY advantageous to AEG getting the Catalogue and everything MJ owns, if he failed to deliver. So it's not so much who hired CM or what drug he gave to MJ. If MJ failed to keep up with the schedule or died, both scenarios promised them MJ's wealth by default. The statements numerous witnesses gave that TT said he was going to destroy MJ should already be enough for intent to harm MJ, and rob him of everything he owned. Why are they not bringing any of this forward--it's ridiculous! :icon_mad:

But MJ is alive, and in control. :errrr: :icon_mrgreen:

I don't think AEG wanted MJ to die because they only stood to profit, HUGELY, if MJ couldn't perform all 50 shows, which is of course what they were hoping for and fully expecting. AEG wouldn't have a say over anything of Michael's in the event of death. I still haven't figured out where Tohme comes in but it may take a shady character to fool other shady characters if you know what I mean. Of course there are other branches of the music industry who have profited heavily, namely Sony, since Michael's "death" but they still couldn't get their hands on the catalog. But Sony is something else altogether. I think this Murray/meds negligence with AEG is a cover to get AEG in the court room so that everything can be picked apart for the world to see and hopefully, finally understand what MJ and other artists have had to put up with for so long. I can imagine (ideally) Katherine's lawyer making someone from AEG explain specifically what Exhibit B really means, in normal everyday language.
