    Hello Shake,
Michael Jackson was friends with Louis Farrakhan, the famous Nation of Islam leader, through Jermaine. He contributed to some of their work. On a video, Farrakhan states that while he was in Africa he received a message that Michael Jackson had contacted him asking for help because he did not feel he could do the 50 shows. This video series is called "The Crucifixion of Michael Jackson." My hope is that somehow either Farrakhan or someone else was able to help him.

And did Farrakhan help him or ignore him?

Well, in the video you get the impression he didn't. But my hope is that somehow they managed to help him (hence--hoax).
  • i have truly enjoyed the hour or so spent listening to these video's

i feel that the truth about this humble man has not come out,

the comments made by these commentators ring in my ears about the non-mol and the liars, the parents who put him thru that ordeal

the manner and way he was treated by sony/epic and the ultimately aeg - is disgusting

who could blame mj for saying to hell with you.

i do believe that sony will do another box set of old material and sell it to us, trying to get their 30 pieces of silver

so mj has the victory tour and 200 songs - good for you

    my heart bleeds
  • these pic too...
  • Wow, MJ does look skinny. Skinnier than any man I've met but I'm not a professional dancer so I can't say if they're supposed to look that skinny or not. Was he healthy in the TII movie? I really can't say. MJ has always been thin yes. I don't know much about the Lupus but in my own opinion, I still think MJ is alive. Every fiber in my being tells me that.

Yes he was thin but I don't think he was that skinny. During the Thriller era and Dangerous era he was that thin. Let's not forget he is dancer and he was rehearsing. It's normal for a dancer to loose weight. I don't know one single dancer who is not loosing weight when he is dancing or rehearsing. Michael was a in good shape. In TII, we saw a MJ in good shape. If he wasn't in good shape, no way he will able to dance like that!!! I know what I'm talking about I'm a dancer too and to dance u need to be in a good shape.

By the way, when you are skinny it doesn't mean u are sick or in a bad shape. I have a friend who is skinnier than Michael (we can almost see the shape of her bones) and she is in better shape than me <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

    agreed

Professional dancers are like anyone else - some thinner, some larger, but they all have fantastic muscle tone. To me, MJ looked thinner than ever in TII, and it didn't look to me like it was because of all the exercise. He looked like someone who hasn't been eating (like anorexic). However, I believe he is alive and that he finally got the help he needed.

I think he was very depressed for a while before TII was even announced. TII may have helped him get out of his depression. I say that because (in my own experience) during a depression it is hard to put a real smile on your face... it makes you forget to eat, and not want o get out of bed. I hope all is well now <!-- s:| -->:|<!-- s:| -->

Very, very interesting information. I have heard about the video. But, I have wanted to see it. I did not know that MJ had contacted Louis when he was in Africa. It makes logical sense would have reached out to NOI, if MJ needed help in light of the 50 concerts. Hmmm, Africa is mentioned again. Very insightful. God bless you both! <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

    Darkchild,
I'll try to find the video (a series actually). It is very interesting. Hardly anyone has spoken of this connection because of the controversy aroused by Farrakhan, but it is my hope they were able to do something.

Michael was extremely thin, to the point of looking sickly. He especially did not appear to have the weight required to do 50 concerts.

It amazes me that some keep saying he was not too thin. One might wonder how thin he needed to be for them to call him too thin.

To prevent videos from being lost, such as the one where he supposedly said he did not want to do the 50 shows, it would be a good idea to download such videos and store them on your harddrive. Videos from Youtube can be easily downloaded with this website by copying and pasting the youtube url in it:

No, I do not have this video but there has been much talk of it suddenly disappearing from the internet at some point. So as soon as anyone sees such an important video, download it because it can be removed again at any time.

Also TII was filmed in HD. Most people look heavier on this format. I certainly noticed the difference in how "fat" someone appeared when I bought a Hi Def tv. On the old Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) tv's people didn't seem as heavy and even that format is supposed to make people look heavier. There is a fine line between being slim and being too thin. Because a lot of people in the Western world are overweight to varying degrees it can make "normal" weight people look abnormal because we are used to seeing heavier people almost as the norm.

I agree with you about the last part, we are used to big as the "norm" but I think that we have seen MJ through his life and we know what healthy on him looks like. For me...MJ was too thin for himself. If you watch TII again, watch were he does the "The Way You Make Me Feel" and look at the part where they do the dancing on the floor, see the part where he puts one knee up while the other is on the floor and is supposed to drag the other knee along and then get up...he has no strength to get up smoothly! This isn't due to not working out, this is due to loss of muscle mass. His body doesn't have any "fat" to loose and is taking his muscle.

mykidsmum, The other thing about being too thin when one gets older is that it can be ageing. People with more fat on their faces when they are middle aged look better/healthier.

i think that is true. i was thin till mid 20's and i hated it! (okay so i can afford to lose some pounds right about now LOL) why are people obseesed with skinny anyway? the skeletal look is not good IMO... <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> I like meat around those bones <!-- s:lol: --><!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:lol: --><!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:lol: --><!-- s:lol: -->
