Michael Jackson’s brother Randy has been hospitalised after experiencing chest pains.
The 48-year-old star was rushed to Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California, at around noon yesterday. Doctors reportedly believe Randy suffered a mild heart attack, but a Jackson family source says the results of tests are still pending.
“It appears Randy has had a mild heart attack, but he is OK,” the insider told British newspaper the Daily Mail. “He was joking around with his father and he is feeling pretty good all things considered.
“He’s been under a tremendous amount of stress lately but Randy’s a fighter. He’ll pull through.”
Randy attended a Los Angeles courthouse on Monday with his parents Joe and Katherine and sister La Toya. The family was there to witness a hearing to determine whether late star Michael’s personal physician Dr Conrad Murray would lose his medical licence.
A judge ruled that Murray could continue to practice, causing the Jackson family a lot of grief. After the verdict, Randy was seen returning to his car muttering swear words.
Michael Jackson died of acute Propofol intoxication by intravenous injection of another last June. Murray is also awaiting trial on criminal involuntary manslaughter charges in relation to his death.
Randy is extremely angry about his brother’s death, and gave a TV interview last week in which he insisted that Murray’s charges should be upgraded to first-degree murder
Why are none of his family talking about this? NOT ONE.. apart from his daughter... have spoken about it. Not to wish him well or anything. Not one has issued a statement. Are any of them at his bedside? Do they not care??? It feels to me they dont care. Not even Jermaine has said anything about this.

I guess you start to see peoples real colours shining through now. It was all shouting and crying about MJ.. but now Randy is sick, no one seems to utter a murmer on the issue.

Randy Jackson has had heart complications previously, though, according to TMZ, even if Monday's preliminary hearing in Los Angeles did upset the brother of late pop star Michael Jackson.
An unidentified source told TMZ that due to Randy Jackson's prior heart attack experience he immediately got this attack checked out. Another person unwilling to go on the record officially, but claiming close ties with the family, told E! Online that Randy did suffer a heart attack on Tuesday, but it was mild and he was doing fine.

Randy had tweeted about his frustrations earlier in June, but also had this to say at that time, "How do I cope? I have a strong Christian faith and find power in prayer...although this month is hard."

In keeping with his desire to address any health issue, Randy stayed overnight at Huntington Memorial Hospital on Tuesday and was having tests run on Wed., June 16. The younger Jackson singer's daughter, Geneviee remained optimistic about her father's recovery.
They are running a few tests. I'm supposed to see him soon. He will be fine."
