• Did you see the clip for next weeks show? Awful what that lady (from house wives of Atlanta) say's to Latoya. She was putting her down calling her old saying she was 50 and something about using her 7 letters in her name to get a head, talks about MJ and her family. I was proud of Latoya she did'nt seem to stup to her level. I will have to check it out and see the out come...it was not cool at all. <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? -->

Thank you for sharing this with us. I like LaToya the more I watch her interact with others. I think that over the years she's learned patience, understanding, and grace. I believe she can hold her own if needed but she doesn't worry too much about the jealousy and little-mindedness of others.

It's too bad she had to be the brunt of that person's accusations but in the end it will be LaToya who gets the last laugh. When it's all said and done nobody will remember that person (I don't even know her name) but everyone will continue to remember LaToya. People forget that LaToya has had some success on her own and she's very talented in her own right. She can't help that she's the sister of the most recognizable person on this planet.

Please continue to give us updates if you are able. I don't get to see the show and enjoy hearing what happens. Blessings <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

This shirt has really been on my mind for some reason. I don't know, we're about due for a major clue and I'm wondering if it could be. I have searched for this pic of LaToya (wearing the shirt) and I can't find it. I guess I'm curious to know if it was taken before or after Celebrity Apprentice wrapped. If after, she could've had a baby tee made. If before, then that would totally contradict what she'd said on the show because it's obviously a different shirt.

This is killing me. Help....somebody. <!-- s:o -->:o<!-- s:o -->
I Have seen this shirt before....I think it was on LaToya or Paris... do we have it on here someplace??

The one on the show looked HUGE...this is small around the waist on her ...

I noticed that LaToya always wears a hat that says "The Palace". Does anyone know of any connections with that? She has worn the hat in almost every episode.

I found this article with LaToya wearing the shirt. The article says they haven't started filming Celebrity Apprentice yet, so I would think that she had the shirt before.

US - La Toya Jackson is to appear on Celebrity Apprentice.

Filming of the new series of the American reality programme is due to start in New York next week. The show sees a group of famous faces compete in a series of challenges set by business magnate Donald Trump in an effort to raise money for charity.

Although no official announcement about the contestants has been made yet, EW.com is reporting La Toya will be one of the stars taking part. The 54-year-old is the sister of late pop icon Michael Jackson, and has appeared on reality television in the past. In 2007, she trained to become a reserve police officer for the Muncie, Indiana department in Armed & Famous, and she took part in the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother in 2009.

Singer Mark McGrath and TV host Star Jones will also be vying for the Celebrity Apprentice crown, which was taken home by Poison rocker Bret Michaels in the last series.

“Jones, Jackson, and McGrath will be three of the contestants on the fourth instalment of Celebrity Apprentice, which will air in the first quarter of 2011,” reports the website. “Expect more names to leak soon once the cast arrives in New York City in the next few days.”

Here are some more pics of LaToya wearing The Palace hat in different episodes. I think it's weird that she would wear the same hat every time they film a task. Maybe I'm looking too far into it. Maybe it's just her working hat? <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> What do you think?

LaToya was wearing the same hat on June 29, 2009 leaving MJ's residence. Interesting....

Wow! Very interesting, and Michael owns it! I found this.
<!-- m -->http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http ... 0QH8rYj5CA<!-- m -->
The Palace of the Lost City, MJ's Hotel?

Michael is a big shareholder of Sun International, which is the owner of Sun City in South Africa.
There are 4 hotels in Sun City and one of them is "The Palace of Lost City" which Michael owns completely.

Very few people know about that...
The Palace of Lost City: <!-- m -->http://sun-city-south-africa.go2africa.com/palace.asp<!-- m -->

The Palace of the Lost City
<!-- m -->http://www.sun-city-south-africa.go2...com/palace.asp<!-- m -->

"The Palace of the Lost City in South Africa ranks as one of the world's most extraordinary hotels. The centerpiece of the extraordinary Palace of the Lost City complex is a fairytale palace residence, built with unbelievable attention to detail. The interior features exquisite mosaics, frescoes and hand-painted ceilings depicting South Africa 's wildlife and culture. Hard to believe that this is all located in a remote part of South Africa!"

Developed by Sol Kerzner, the boxer-turned-businessman known locally as the "Sun King," who capitalized on South Africa's stern antigambling laws by situating Sun City in the then homeland of Bophuthatswana, Sun City is unlikely to bowl over anyone who's ever been to Vegas, but it continues to rake in visitors and Bollywood film crews who love its larger than life atmosphere. The resort is relatively easy to get around, with shuttle buses constantly moving from one end to the next. A "sky train" takes visitors without cars from the entrance to the entertainment center. Closest to the entrance are the Kwena Crocodile Sanctuary, Waterworld, and The Cabanas, followed by the tacky Sun City Hotel, Casino, and world-famous Gary Player Golf Club. Adjoining this club to the north is the more upmarket Cascades Hotel and Entertainment Centre, from where you enter the grounds of the Palace of the Lost City -- for most visitors, the star attraction.

The Palace was built 12 years after Sun City opened, and the sheer magnitude of its opulence is proof of the amount of money taken from those frequenting Sun City's slot machines and tables. Separated from the rest of the resort by "The Bridge of Time" -- a large stone structure that shudders and rumbles at preappointed times from a mythical earthquake, and is lined with a "guard of honor" of carved elephants -- the Palace is entered through the massive Mighty Kong Gates. Looking down on the rivers and jungle vegetation, it's hard to imagine that 15 years ago this was nothing but a dusty, rocky plain. From the bridge, you can clearly see the "Valley of Waves," where landlocked Gautengers learn to "surf" on simulated waves, tan on man-made beaches, and hurtle down steep waterslides, reaching speeds of up to 35kmph (22 mph; note that the Valley is closed in winter). In the distance, overlooking a lake filled with live flamingos, is the majestic Palace, with what seems like an entire jungle of carved animals in attendance. Surrounding the Palace is what must be the most artfully landscaped garden in Africa, featuring five trails through 22 different sections of forest. The theme (that of a "lost city" that has been rediscovered and restored) is sometimes carried to ridiculous extremes, but the craftsmanship is world-class; the fantasy landscape is quite overwhelming. With Michael Jackson a majority shareholder, things can only get weirder.

"My parents friends went to South Africa sun City a little while back and they stayed at the Palace of the Lost City......they said it was "awesome"!! They had heard MJ owned it and were in awe...they had no idea he did anything other then music....they were very surprised and VERY impressed!!"

OMG, Nee-Nee,how totally inconsiderate, rude and insensitive. Did you hear her remark about LaToya's cooking when the grill started to burn, caught fire? She said speaking to LaToya, what are you doing trying to do, pull a Michael Jackson on me>>>??? Obviously relating to the Pepsi incident. That burns me up, literally <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: --> <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: --> She needs to go.

Nene is very outspoken. I thought that was very rude of her saying that to LaToya. LaToya didn't even have a reaction to her though. (unless I missed it?)

They kept showing the audience during the cooking episode and I kept trying to spot "Micheal" (just in case <!-- s;-) -->;-)<!-- s;-) --> I couldn't stop and pause, though, because I was watching it with my husband and it was getting late. Did anyone notice how much time they spent on showing the audience members? Maybe it was just my imagination.

Wow I am amazed at that hotel. So beautiful. He did mention in an interview that he wanted to show the world that Africa IS beautiful unlike the negative image the media has portray it to be. And I know he said he wanted to own hotel resorts in Africa to make the continent more of a tourist attraction so others can see Africa in a new light. I didn't know he already owned some hotels. I think it was the Jesse Jackson interview he said this.Truly amazing. I would love to stay there one day. I think Africa plays a key role in this adventure. Latoya is wearing that hat. Marlon has mentioned working on projects in Africa. Jermaine is supposed "stuck in Africa." There's a lot of things pointing to Africa. I don't think that is done by coincidence.

So how does this fit in with Michael being "broke" <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: --> <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: --> Never seen this listed as one of his "assets" on record before. Michael is smarter than the average bear. Secret stash. Always keep one <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) -->
• NeNe should have been fired when she made that horrible Michael Jackson comment when LaToya's hamburgers went up in flames. <!-- s:twisted: -->:twisted:<!-- s:twisted: --> I would have fired her on the spot!

I wonder if Michael is staying at his palace. That would be very cool! <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) -->
• I didn't know SA was that beautiful...that is my background...and I still haven't been there...I wish to go there soon.

<!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> so true...I think what may have happened in the early 2000's is that Michael was bankrolling so many projects that he was cash poor but rich on paper. This is probably one of several projects. We know the Sony/Atv catalog has also been buying up other labels. In addition to trying to pay for the trial and all of the silly lawsuits it appeared as though he was broke when he wasn't. It confirms for me that he was never broke. Blessings.

Well, many fansite since last year is repeating information that perhaps Michael is a shareholder of one of the most prestigious hotels in South Africa.

I am very interested in this information because I do not believe in debt by Michael as a possible cause falsification of death.

So, what is this mythical hotel. Let’s see.
By reviewing multiple pages in google I found only one mention of Share-holding is Michael Jackson.

“The Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town, The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City and The Royal Livingstone at the Victoria Falls in Zambia are the three 5-star Sun International destinations that shape the Route of the African Sun. As you chase the African Sun you will
come to appreciate the sterling service and unparalleled excellence that all three diverse destinations offer.”

In a world travel guide Frommer’s South Africa, 5th Edition has a note:

“Sun City & The Palace of the Lost CityDeveloped by Sol Kerzner, the boxer-turned-businessman known locally as the “Sun King,” who capitalized on South Africa’s stern antigambling laws by situating Sun City in the then homeland of Bophuthatswana, Sun City is unlikely to bowl over anyone who’s ever been to Vegas, but it continues to rake in visitors and Bollywood film crews who love its larger than life atmosphere. palace.jpg?w=600&h=376

Interestingly, the mention of Michael is in the fifth edition of the guide and not in the sixth, which came into circulation in December 2009.

“As one of the king’s subjects you will stay in a room that matches your status;

2165.jpg?w=600&h=399

338 rooms offer luxury ranging from just plain standard (and plain they are by comparison) to the king’s suite which was good enough for Michael Jackson.”

2145.jpg?w=567&h=850

Summing up a little I would say – the rumors about 300 million of debt as they were and still rumors created by TMZ and Michael. No court has not been the reality for the debts after 25.06.2009, but what betrayed TMZ … I leave for thought. Michael may well be a shareholder, and under an assumed name…

La Toya Fired: Don’t Blame Star

Published on April 25, 2011 by name team
La Toya Jackson was an innocent victim of Donald Trump-ery on Celebrity Apprentice 4 (April 24th), Task 8. It’s true that the other members of Team ASAP have been conniving behind her back for the last few episodes, and Star Jones was more than willing to throw the baby-voiced sister of the King of Pop under the bus even though ASAP’s failure was her own fault, but if La Toya watches the episode back, we think even she will agree that Trump had made up his mind to get rid of a weak link no matter what.

If would have been more interesting if Star had picked Hope Dworaczyk AND La Toya to come back in the boardroom with her, but Star must have known that in that case, Donald Trump would have let Hope go because La Toya has gotten some really impressive compliments from company execs on prior tasks.
ca4-task8.jpg

In “Bitter Suites,” the task was to create an ad campaign for the Trump Hotels. Donald Trump told team leader John Rich that the disadvantage he would have to labor under was not being all that acquainted with super luxury. Star Jones, who is acquainted with super luxury and not the least shy in letting everyone know, headed up Team ASAP, bragging on her world travels in Paris, London, Morocco and let’s not forget San Tropez and sailing on the Mediterranean Sea.

QUOTE ROUNDUP: CELEBRITY APPRENTICE 4 EP 8: LA TOYA FIRED

On Team ASASP, NeNe and La Toya patched up their differences. NeNe’s eye-rolling was addressed. “I felt there were eyes rolling, talking behind my back. Girls, I’m human. That hurts,” Jackson said.

It really bothered NeNe when she thought La Toya didn’t like her because she later asked La Toya if she would call if she ever went to Atlanta. La Toya said she better have a great guest room.

The women focused on pampering and luxury and individual words that would convey that super luxury, while the men went with the slogan “Live the Life,” focusing not only on luxury but also the five star service you can expect at a Trump Hotel and also capitalized on their own experience right there at Trump Soho. With Gary Busey gone, Meat Loaf sort of became the New Bizarro with strange ramblings about mirrors and advising a butler how to look like the best butler in the world.

The men had no contact info, and epic spelling errors — which was funny since they all got on Gary’s case for spelling errors on the Omaha Steaks menus. Lil Jon spells sophistication with two o’s and can’t be messing around with spell check much. John Rich caught that one, but his spelling must leave a lot to be desired too, since he missed a lot more.

The presentations were judged by Jim Petrus, the CEO of Trump Hotels, and James Oseland, the editor-in-chief of Saveur magazine. They hated both campaigns.

The women’s team’s brochure was pronounced “sleazy.” It was too cluttered, Hope’s towel was showing in the rose petal bubble bath and how did that bubbly get in the glass she was holding when someone neglected to uncork the champagne bottle? Oseland said: “This campaign that the women did reminds me of those advertisements that get placed under your windshield wiper for sleazy clubs.” Ouch, Star!

“This is really a case of the lesser of two evils,” Petrus said, “There isn’t really a winner,” — so the lesser of two evils was Team Backbone. They can’t spell but they’re not sleazy.

In the board room, by all rights, Star’s not-so-big anymore ass should have gotten a swift kick out the door. La Toya, suffering from laryngitis, matter-of-factly told Donald what a bossy wench Star is. It’s her way or the highway. Star recognized that Trump’s focus on weakness could work in her favor. Her strategy to save herself from the axe was to bring NeNe and LaToya together as heads that could roll besides her own. Donald thought that was double-teaming LaToya, but it really wasn’t. Star was banking on the fact that Trump would let the weakest team member go and she was right. Why did she not want Hope to be fired?

Maybe because Marlee Matlin likes Hope and Star doesn’t want to rattle Marlee’s cage. Who knows? All we know is that La Toya is still right about this:

“I think Star Jones is a very manipulative person, I think she’s very conniving and she’s very evil …”
<!-- m -->http://fikklefame.com/la-toya-fired-dont-blame-star/<!-- m -->

I think LaToya can hold her head high, in keeping her dignity in the face of that lady, Star, a very annoying loud-mouth and secondly Nene. There is no way Trump would hire her, but I think she makes for drama which improves ratings on the show. LaToya also did a good job of her hoax assignments for MJ, IMO!

[youtube:2se7bwzs] (previous show fighting) Watching the beginning at :25.
[youtube:2se7bwzs] Watch also the comments from LaToya near the end.
• Yes I saw that episode and felt Star should of been fired...well a long time ago every time she takes over the woman lose...she obviously sabotages the team.

Sometimes Nene can say the wrong thing (like she said to Latoya) but I respect her for being upfront and honest...but wow next episode there will be fireworks...she really doesn't like Star.

I am looking forward to Nene putting Star in her place. Star bothers me and I think she plays dirty and is bossy. Nene is sassy, but I think she does keep it real. (except for her MJ comments) You could tell that she really felt bad about LaToya being sent home this week and didn't like that Star put her on the spot.
• laToya should not have been fired! The only reason she got the ax is because she is graceful and gracious and not interested in getting involved in a cat fight with Star or Nene. Star and Nene will go at it for sure in the weeks to come until one of them gets fired. Nene should have gotten fired for making that stupid remark "pulling a Michael Jackson on us" when LaToya's hamburgers caught on fire last week. <!-- s:evil: -->:evil:<!-- s:evil: --> Usually someone gets fired for screwing up the assignment and in this case it was definitely Star. But, instead they start talking about going forward and getting rid of the weakest member like in Survivor.

I will truly miss seeing LaToya on the show. I only really watched it because she was on it and gave us a few good clues. She reminds me alot of Michael with some of her expressions and looks from time to time too. <!-- s:( -->:(<!-- s:( -->

• I will truly miss seeing LaToya on the show. I only really watched it because she was on it

That's the only reason that I watched it! It's been on for a while and this is the first time I watched. LaToya was not as weak as they thought. She proved that when she was the project manager. They were smacking their lips thinking they had her that they would lose and be able to get rid of her but she pulled out some last minute ideas on them and her team won!!

Personally I think they should not have put any of those women with Star Jones because she is lawyer and she's doing what lawyers do. I think she should have been on a team where all the other women were lawyers as well, then see how far she would get!

And oh yes, I agree NeNe should not have made that comment, but that's why I watch reality shows, to see the real person, and she definitely showed the real NeNe with that disgusting statement!

Blessings to all,
OnTheWingsOfLove!
