  • Anagram yes, logical NO!
    It was the name of the tour, listen to what Michael says about the planet in TII, if we could please stop with the TII bashing, it was a REHEARSAL! not a friggen concert, watch the Dangerous rehearsals, he goes an entire verse and does not sing a word!

    well in the TII extras it said that michael wanted to tour the world again including a few shows in japan.....
  • R. Hallett declared that MJ suggested to go to Madrid after London. At least he said so.
    Hallett saw Jackson three weeks before he died. “Michael was excited, he was enthused, fit. The day before he died we agreed, ‘Spain’s a bit depressed, so let’s go to Madrid after the O2’. He was driving home when someone called and asked, ‘Have you heard the news?’ I got drunk for three days.”

  • It does sound like a tour was the intent. After the London concerts, this interview refers to an Asian tour and possibly a tour in the US after that. <!-- s:?: -->:?:<!-- s:?: --> <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: --> (1:56)

    I always thought why the O2 Guy was saying so many times; This is it.
    I dont know if it has been posted before.

    But the anagrams for THIS IS IT are:
    Shit Is It!
    It is Shit!
    Is it Shit?
    Well for me it was a Sh*t performance.
    I suppose MJ was thinking the same....
    But what do you think?

    I think that the 02 "guy" was MJ. Therefore I believe that he continually repeated TII because he knew that he was going to bow out of those performances & did not, nor could not say anything further.

    That is my gut reaction.

    ER911: Agree!
  • First of all, I really found that anagram to be funny as HELL! <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: -->

    MAN! WHY DINT WE COME UP WITH THAT BEFORE!! HOOOHAAHAHAHAHA!

    Anyway, on a more serious note, I think MJ COULD HAVE named this tour like that coz maybe this hoax IS all about exposing the shit that he went through? So very appropriately, SHIT IT IS! <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

    Not meaning to turn this into another O2 "guy" discussion/dissection again, but just thought I would mention why I think this topic is quite relevant in it's own context here...

    Whether or not it was the "real" MJ at the O2 Arena, most of us found the whole "swagger walking, the odd cold/hard edge to him & the 'high as a kite' act/attitude" a HUGE "out-of-sorts" kind of turnoff; a real faux pas, if you will (keep in mind the "body double/impersonator" speculations-albeit, at a less 'grander scale' than now-before his "death" too). Watching 'the announcement' after 25 June 2009, especially in the This Is It movie, naturally incited an entirely different & very (mixed/confused) emotional responses from us! <!-- s:( -->:(<!-- s:( --> So, I do understand why some of us object to this one so strongly, but that does not mean there aren't are many of us who still wonder about "it" too. Since both sides are, in fact, "very real" & equally entitled to our own opinions, why not be a little more accepting & tolerant towards each other here, hmmm?!? <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

    So, I ran "the" (much repeated) "words" on an anagram search engine today & received 45 possibilities here. Some of them are nonsensical, others are even funny & then there are some that are quite 'interesting' too <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: -->
    Since I really do believe that this topic was meant to be taken in a light-hearted manner (nothing "too deep"), have a look here: http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/anagram.cgi?anagram=this+is+it&language=english&t=1000&d=&include=&exclude=&n=&m=&source=adv&a=n&l=n&q=n&k=1.
    Again, no disrespect intended here, ok? <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> Let's keep an open mind & share a few harmless laughs too in the process (while we are playing "the waiting game" TOGETHER <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P --> ) <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) -->

    L.O.V.E & LOVE ALL THE WAY!
  • Wherever this Thome dude appears before or behind the (final) curtain, it means sh*t for me all the way.
    Nothing good can come out of it: He either presents a fake MJ or has Jermaine declare MJ dead. <!-- s:twisted: -->:twisted:<!-- s:twisted: -->
    Was MJ able to control the whole sh*tty situation or was he controlled?
  • Shit Allll the Wayyy..to Hoax Land. <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: -->
    Mike wants his true fans to find the real Shit <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: -->

    I think it would be low of Michael if that was intentional. None of us really know him and what goes on behind those curtains, BUT having been familiar with his music, interviews and poetry for years, Jackson doesn't come across as someone who'd stay up all night trying to come up with a childishly crude name. <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: -->

    If the name was supposed to show fans that MJ didn't want to participate in those shows, then there are much more thoughtful options, why not "Orange Time" which anagram is "I'm not agree" or even "A Defy Mile Rinsing" which means "My life is in danger" etc.

    I must admit I've always hated that title; it sounds like a goodbye.

    I don't know, I'm not 100% sold on the 02 dude being Mike. The voice was on point, but there was something about him that screamed "Italian" to me. Also, the 02 guy was the healthy "Mike" that everyone spoke of when attempting to convey their disbelief that he was as frail and sickly looking as the guy in TII.

    I don't know. Just not quite feeling it yet. <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? -->

    Actually I'm 99% positive that O2 guy was MJ himself. <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: -->
