i just wanted to add that my best friend developed a bump on her nose and it eventually made it hard for her to breathe she had to have the bone in her nose grinded for this reason and then later she had to go back and have work on it for cosmetic reasons and she had a bandaid looking tape on her nose like michaels. we have no clue why he looked liked this in this picture but i dont think he should be judged looks are not the only thing that matters. lets say michael did have multiple surgeries if he did it was probably to try and please this cruel and disqusting world we live in. Michael was human and aging happens to all of us. everything he did someone had to make a big deal about it. Im not talking to anyone specific but i hate the subject of michaels looks. i dont care what he did or didnt do to his face it dont change the fact that he loved everyone and everything.

Michael didn't have as many plastic surgeries as the media and haters like to claim. But he also didn't count follow-up work as an additional plastic surgery. For example, his first nose job required a second operation to fix breathing/singing problems created during the first procedure. He considered that one nose job, although some would count it as two.
As for the photos, the one on the bottom seems altered to me. I've never seen Michael's nose look that odd before, so I don't think it's an accurate image or proves anything. However, the top photos seem to prove that Michael didn't have that many cosmetic surgeries since he looks very similar in both, although they were snapped almost 20 years apart.

It's a psychological thing. What everyone else sees and what Michael sees are two very different things because we don't have the memories of the psychological abuse he endured from Joe and his brothers regarding his physical appearance distorting how we perceive reality.
This is similar to what happens with some fashion models. The public thinks they're gorgeous, but they don't agree because they remember getting teased for being so tall and scrawny or whatever while they were growing up. Overweight children who are teased because of their weight have the same issue, only they see themselves as fat, even after they become "normal"-sized. And on it goes.
I think Michael was just as drop-dead gorgeous during the HIStory era as he was in the Bad era. And, as you mentioned, he looked mighty fine in 2007 and in This Is It. I've always preferred him with meat on his bones, so I believe he would have definitely looked much better with more weight in the movie, particularly because his weight has such a drastic effect on his facial features.

I honestly don't think anyone but a very conceited big headed person are happy with their looks, no matter who say's how gorgeous they are, there are happily married women who have husbands who adore them and they still insist in having procedures done. I knew a Lady who insisted on a boob and nose job and her husband was totally against it and said she didn't need it, and this is the UK and not Hollywood. I think it stems from insecurity and how you feel about yourself. Michaels father and indeed he said even his brothers would tease him about having a big nose and although people think teasing doesn't matter it can make you very insecure and cause damage mentally.
