I believe the tribute is going to happen and again I believe that the reason why they have this tribute during the trial is to take the public attention from trial to the concert. I'd like to give an example from movies. I'm sure everyone of you saw a scene like that. There's a terrible savagery scene on the film. People are killing each other, blood is everywhere. But the music at the background is an opera. It doesn't fit with the scene you're wathing, is it? The director adds that opera on purpose which means he doesn't want you to focus on the savageness. He is trying to say "This is just a movie. Don't pay too much attention to people killing each other on the scene". <br /><br />This tribute thing sounds exactly like the example I gave and I think they don't want people to focus on the trial. <br />If we take into account that Mike was afraid he would be assasinated on stage and wore bullet proof vests in public, then I think you can forget about him bamming on stage in Cardiff, but that's just me. I think the whole thing will be cancelled and if not, then there is probably another purpose for it to happen. But in my opinion it will not be bamsday. Simply because it makes no sense to me.<br />

I think the tribute will be the first appearance of the kids on stage and it will NOT be a speech.<br />Perfect distraction since half of the attention will be on the ever reinforcing trial for the Doc - reinforcing that Michael is gone. Wait a minute. After over two years they finally announce a tribute and have virtually no top acts appearing. With all due respect to the two acts who have agreed, this is pretty pathetic. Why would they say the 'contacted' Jay-Z and those other people. They have NO top bands and they're thinking about streaming the concert in the US? Who would watch it? If this is the BAM, lots of things are gonna have to happen ahead of it to prepare people for the possibility.

What does he exactly mean by suitable replacement of his practice? Could it be a person? Or does he mean innovative technology, e.g. 2D/3D which projects Michael’s performance on stage as a sort of replacement (Cirque du Soleil)? Anything is possible, though I totally agree that Michael can never be replaced.
