like it been said, too suspicious with it all for me to believe he has passed away, unless a little more then a few "media stories" telling me he has passed away, i will think it hoax news.

kind of interesting as i think frank was the one who was to have told the children in a very direct manner that their father was dead. remember it was said that murry was not happy about the way he went about it. or did i just make that up?
  • Elizabeth Taylor, now Frank DiLeo... that's so sad. He wasn't that old either.

BTW: I remember I read that Frank DiLeo was in the house when MJ died. Wouldn't that have made him an important witness? Not that that means he faked his death or anything, I don't believe that, but just saying.

Why a newspaper of Nashville announces this death arisen in Los Angeles? Maybe a report with Elvis ? Very strange ::)

All she writes back is "o" ? Thats kind of rude... /:

& i just wanted to share some fun times mj & frank had (:

“Later, in another part of Florida, when the old tour boredom set in that I described earlier, I played a little trick on Frank. I asked him to come up to my suite and when he came in I offered him some watermelon, which was laying across the room. Frank went over to pick up a piece and tripped over my boa constrictor, Muscles, who was on the road with me. Muscles is harmless, but Frank hates snakes and proceeded to scream and yell. I started chasing him around the room with a boa. Frank got the upper hand, however. He panicked, ran from the room, and grabbed the security guard’s gun. He was going to shoot Muscles, but the guard calmed him down. Later he said all he could think of was: “I’ve got to get that snake.” I’ve found a lot of tough men are afraid of snakes.”

Poor frank

“I know that he is innocent. A lot of people attack him for a lot of different reasons. One is, everybody would love to get their hands on the Beatles’ publishing. And he’s just one of those guys, he’s real kind and real nice and he can easily be taken advantage of. In this particular case, this kid had cancer, he found him a doctor, they didn’t have any money, he allowed them to live on his ranch. And when it was over, they didn’t want to leave. It was like blackmail. That’s all it was. We talked at each and every break. I wanted to let him know that I know he didn’t do it. In fact, when I went there, he didn’t know I was coming. It was very emotional. Michael said, ‘Frank, I can’t believe you’re here.’ And he started to cry. And I went over and I hugged him and we got on the elevator and he told defense attorney],Tom Mesereau, ‘This is Frank Dileo. He used to manage me. I’ve had nine managers since then. He’s the only guy that showed up, or even called to see how I’m doing.’ That was a very rough thing on him, a very emotional thing.” - Frank Dileo

  • Thanks for sharing those stories with us, MJFAN7! The 2nd one is very touching. I hate how the Non-Believers have speculated that Frank was out to get MJ, and possibly played a role in his 'death'.

Was frank even that good to MJ in his later years? I think I remember a reading about michael being doublecrossed by Frank and taken advantage of. It wouldn't surprise me. on the surface you would think that he was good to michael but we can't be so sure. Maybe that 's why the children responded with just "o" because their father probably told them he was bad news. (maybe, i'm not sure.) still, if he was there throughout his years with michael and was kind to him, such a tragic loss.

Another article, I don't think this one has been posted yet.

Frank Dileo, The Real Story of Michael Jackson’s Brilliant Manager
Frank_DiLeo1.jpg

08/25/11 9:21am Roger Friedman 0
I’m finally getting to write about my friend Frank Dileo, who died yesterday at age 63. Frank was Michael Jackson’s loyal and brilliant manager and friend, the architect of his success and his amazing career. You want to know about “Thriller”? It was Frank, “Bad”? Frank again. It was Frank who sat through Michael’s child molestation trial in 2005 in Santa Maria, California, far from his home in Ohio, at his own expense.
It was Frank who returned in the spring of 2009 to keep Michael on the straight and narrow so he could rehearse for his London concert dates. It was Frank who kissed Michael on the forehead, closed his eyes in the emergency room, and went out to tell Michael’s kids that their father had died. For Michael, Frank was always there.
I met Frank a long time ago, but we bonded during that trial. He’d come to god forsaken Santa Maria barely able to see. He had severely limited vision due to glaucoma and diabetes, and was waiting for an operation. He couldn’t drive, so I was his self appointed chauffeur. It was a long trial, and it wasn’t like Michael was in any shape to acknowledge Frank or to thank him. But he hung in there, and was a particular friend to Katherine Jackson, who attended the trial every day.
What Frank didn’t want to concede was that the Jacksons were notoriously disloyal. While the trial raged on, Michael’s former chief of security and surrogate father, Bill Bray, lay dying in a hospital bed in a little house in Los Angeles near the 10 freeway. Michael and all the Jacksons had simply dropped him. Bray, who I visited a few times, was semi-comatose and cared for by his lady friend. She wondered what had happened to the Jacksons. They were gone.
When the trial was over, and Michael hotfooted it to Bahrain and other locales, Dileo was similarly cut off. It wasn’t until Michael was in dire financial straits, and struggling to prepare for London, that he called on Frank. Dileo was there in a flash. He was the most loyal friend you could ask for. Again, he came at his own expense. Even though he’d lived high during the 80s with Michael, Frank didn’t make out like some of Jackson’s other advisers. His attitude was, you don’t ask. You wait for someone–Michael, Sony–to do the right thing. They never did.
I digress. Frank had the worst health imaginable. Forget the stuff people in the record business did in those crazy Eighties. He smoked stogies, ate thick steaks, liked a good scotch. He loved The Palm in Nashville, and the breakfast room at the Beverly Hilton. At the latter he’d become a fixture in the last couple of years, moving in to help Michael and staying–even though he had a wonderful and understanding wife, Linda, and kids Belinda and Dominic, back in Ohio. He became the mascot of the Beverly Hilton. When he got sick this past spring, the staff came to Cedars Sinai and held prayer vigils. They were that fond of him.
Do nice guys finish last? I don’t think so. Frank played mobsters in movies like “Goodfellas” and liked to act tough, but he was a sweetheart. If only he’d been a little terrifying or threatening maybe he’d have made more money. But he led with his heart, and that always gets you into trouble. Was he disillusioned with Michael’s executors? Yes. He brought John Branca back into Michael’s life six weeks before Jackson died. With Branca came the utterly useless John McClain, who resented Frank and did everything he could to blunt his participation. The lackluster performance of the “Michael” album, which Frank tried to guide, can be laid at McClain’s feet.
Since Frank’s illness–resulting from triple bypass surgery in March–I have to say that the estate has been incredibly helpful, however. The details are private. But when Frank’s family needed support they got it. So you have to balance these things out.
So what now? I’m going to do what Frank did to stay healthy: fruit for breakfast, with bacon and French toast. And remember my friend, who was barely five feet tall, but was a giant among men.

http://www.showbiz411.com/2011/08/25/frank-dileo-the-real-story-of-michael-jacksons-brilliant-manager

Why hasn't ANY Jackson made a single comment about the death of him? Paris only wrote "O". Is that it? suspicious//

    Sad... RIP Frank... :|
  • Paris' reaction sounds really rude. She knew Frank DiLeo and although she probably wasn't close to him, she could have said more than just 'o'. I mean, that is heartless. That really makes the whole thing even weirder because Paris' doesn't seem to be rude at all. She sounds very loving and caring... :?

@applehead250609....thank you for that interview video with Frank back in 1988...for some reason Frank reminds me of my dad...his voice, mannerisms, and just sheer presence (although dad didn't smoke)......it's was nice to see, but sad all the way around too...... Frank defended Michael always...or at least from what I have seen/read. Business is business, I am sure the two of them argued plenty over it. Does anyone have video of Frank dissing Michael......I have not seen anything like that (please post it if you can...I'd like to see it). Based on what I have seen/read...... I feel there was an underlying bond of friendship with them. Perhaps, things got tough at times, but, in the end always friendship.

Frank will be missed.....Michael, please know I am keeping his family and you close in thought and prayer.......God Bless.

Thanks again applehead....have a great day!

Blessings to all......

God, I don't know. I might be oversuspicious but it's something fishy with what happened with DiLeo, I don't know.
No matter what garbage taboild TMZ is, they didn't post anything. How is that possible? When they post each and every "news", no matter how small, about Michael and people around him. To not have an article about DiLeo's death?
I checked on CNN too and I haven't seen the news there either. Did CNN post it? But TMZ's silence is impossible to understand, they take advantage of the most insignificant news and make an article, even more when it involves Michael's name in any way, and nothing about DiLeo's death? Not even a short "We've learned Michael Jackson's manager, Frank DiLeo, died today after a long period of illness. He was 63". Nothing.

The only one who tweeted was Jackie.

I don't want to lose contact with ration - and I don't- but really, it is suspicious

TMZ Gets Punk’D With Fake Jackson Document

Website TMZ got punk’d today by a concert promoter who wants a chunk of Michael Jackson’s money. The site has published a letter purportedly from Frank DiLeo, Michael’s manager, instructing anyone who wants to produce a Jackson tribute concert to come through him. The letter bears a scrawled, indeciperable signature and the very funny sentence “Frank Dileo is the’manager of Michael Jackson (deceased)’in life and in death.”The problem is, DiLeo tells me it’s not his letter, nor is it his signature. He didn’t write it, and has no idea who some of the people are who are named in the letter including a Fadi Rashed. “I’ve never heard of Fadi Rashed,” says DiLeo, and a Google search doesn’t help either.DiLeo immediately called TMZ’s Harvey Levin, but Levin has yet to remove the fake correspondence.Who wrote this piece of fiction? Well, yours truly received an email post-haste from publicist Ren Gravatt, who represents Patrick Alloco, of AllGood Entertainment in New Jersey. Alloco, in business officially and unofficially with a group that wants a piece of Jackson’s estate, claims to be suing DiLeo over Jackson family concerts that were supposedly to take place in Texas.Gravatt was all too quick to send me the TMZ posting with this added information: “This latest expose piece on Frank DiLeo and his partner, Mark Lamicka, spells out the same sort of dubious behavior that has landed Mr. DiLeo and his company in Federal Court with AllGood Entertainment.”The only problem with that last assertion, of course, is that DiLeo has never been served, and is not in federal court with AllGood Entertainment.Strangely enough, Alloco is still trying to sue everyone connected with Michael Jackson over his alleged concert scheme, even through the singer is dead. The theory behind this latest move ‘especially after Gravatt’s email’is that Alloco and his group’including Joseph Jackson, Leonard Rowe, and Tohme Tohme‘may have fabricated the letter to make DiLeo look bad.TMZ, like a lot of blogs, could do well to check each piece of paper that comes in rather than wind up in situation like Dan Rather’and have to deal with fiction.

http://www.showbiz411.com/2009/08/29/20090829tmz-michael-jackson-frank-dileo-patrick-alloco

I just found this article.....isn't AllGoodEntertainment the company that was setting up a concert in Dallas at the time of Michael's This Is It tour....there was a lawsuit, etc. It was a Jackson 5 show. Anyways, Anna....you make some good points. I feel deep down he really passed away, however, I do feel there is always a chance something is fishy...why did my font just get bigger, lol...I didn't do anything.Blessings....
  • R.I.P. Big Frank.

There was a time when Big Frank and M.J. made magic together. But like every relationship, it had it ups and downs.

The article by Roger Friedman is filled with Roger's usual anti-Jackson rants. So I read it with that in mind. The truth is somewhere far from what Roger ever writes. But in the end, I think Big Frank really loved MJ and MJ loved him.

Life is short and meant to be enjoyed, and I think Big Frank did just that.
