I would just like to add -again to the people who feel bad that they cannot recognize him- that Michael's appearance is incredibly unique and he has very distinguished features, so if you're going to disguise MJ you better be sure it's a good one! We all know he was the master of disguise.
When I first saw Ghosts I didn't know the old man was him, and you can even see his eyes in that movie. Of course I was young, and I mean now that I know it, it couldn't be more obvious, especially by the way he talks.
Remember Michael said that he could even fool his own mother with his disguises.

But that is just your opinion, I don't agree that there are these major differences at all. The "doubles theory" is simply a theory not a fact, as is my theory. Neither is anymore valid than the other. Just because you believe the "doubles theory" and I don't isn't any reason to post a contemptuous reply. I haven't been disrespectful at all. Mo! I have to agree with you 100%! I just wonder why is it so difficult for some people to believe that there were doubles inTII? MJ's own father Joe Jackson said there were lots of doubles in the movie. Joe isn't as off as some people may want to believe. MJ didn't want to do more than 10 shows anyway. AEG was behind the change and we all know that MJ never allowed big industry to push him around. I believe that could be one of the reasons he left and went into hiding. There is more corruption in the music industry than any of us can imagine. When you back out of contracts that's messing with folks money. First of all, Tina is and James was a LOT older than Mike. 50 is not old, I don't know how many times I have to say that. How do you explain "Thriller" and "Smooth Criminal" in TII if he was not able to dance like he used to? And I am pretty sure that he can still do the Moonwalk when he is 93 years old.
If you look at the Dangerous rehearsal, you see that he is indeed not giving his all, yet we see all the typical MJ moves. TII Billie Jean guy in TII is doing close to nothing. He is also not trying something else with Billie Jean, Mike likes routine and he will only improve his choreography and not just stand there moving a little to the music. Mike's moves have always been very sharp and I am sure they are still this day. I wish people would stop calling him old, he's not. There is a difference between a 50-year-old truck driver that drinks beer and eats chips every night while controlling his remote, and a 50-year-old that has danced all his life like Michael Jackson.

I'm not sure about the whole Doubles theory, but I totally agree on this point, Souza. There's no reason to think that Michael wouldn't be able to dance amazingly at 50. I think we can all agree that Michael is a perfectionist; right? He's stated that himself, many times. I don't think a perfectionist would contemplate a concert residency if he honestly couldn't do the moves he's famous for and the fans would expect to see.
I know we are all ages here, but I honestly think the majority of people saying he wouldn't be able to move well because he's 50 are probably 25 or younger. I'm 41, and in many ways I move a LOT better than I did at 25. It's all about how you take care of yourself. Age is just a number.

This really isn't about an actual "physical" double and a broadening of perspectives is required here; opening one's mind to ideas and possibilities and looking for a deeper meaning not just a "literal" one. So much of this adventure has been in alternate meanings to things than we see at first glance, for instance the DOTS of TMZ articles. It isn't what we first perceive it to be, there is something deeper there if you just take a closer look. The same is for the "Doubles, it isn't meant to be a physical double but something much more relevant to our perceptions of the world around us. We really are being directed to philosophical theories and how psychological principals are being used in all forms of media etc to manipulate our perceptions.
Oh and that explains the changes in height, shape, ears and facial structure...? Leave alone all the photo comparisons and morphs that don't match. But okay, never mind, let's just say we agree to disagree.
But that is just your opinion, I don't agree that there are these major differences at all. The "doubles theory" is simply a theory not a fact, as is my theory. Neither is anymore valid than the other. Just because you believe the "doubles theory" and I don't isn't any reason to post a contemptuous reply. I haven't been disrespectful at all. It is possible that we are both wrong and it is completely something else. Because you believe the "doubles theory", you may be seeing things to validate that for you, just as I may be seeing things that validate what I perceive. In the end it is all just theories and speculation.
I personally CAN NOT explain all those other oddities.

Mo! I have to agree with you 100%! I just wonder why is it so difficult for some people to believe that there were doubles inTII? MJ's own father Joe Jackson said there were lots of doubles in the movie. Joe isn't as off as some people may want to believe. MJ didn't want to do more than 10 shows anyway. AEG was behind the change and we all know that MJ never allowed big industry to push him around. I believe that could be one of the reasons he left and went into hiding. There is more corruption in the music industry than any of us can imagine. When you back out of contracts that's messing with folks money. It's no telling who MJ pissed off so bad that wanted to take him out? Thank God he had a plan already in place. Mo, I like your post! I wish people would let Michael age. It will happen to all of us. We will all one day not be able to move the way we did when we were younger. Take Tina Turner and James Brown. Although phenomenal they did not/don't move as they did when they were younger. Still fantastic in their own right. (although one died)
First of all, Tina is and James was a LOT older than Mike. 50 is not old, I don't know how many times I have to say that. How do you explain "Thriller" and "Smooth Criminal" in TII if he was not able to dance like he used to? And I am pretty sure that he can still do the Moonwalk when he is 93 years old.
If you look at the Dangerous rehearsal, you see that he is indeed not giving his all, yet we see all the typical MJ moves. TII Billie Jean guy in TII is doing close to nothing. He is also not trying something else with Billie Jean, Mike likes routine and he will only improve his choreography and not just stand there moving a little to the music. Mike's moves have always been very sharp and I am sure they are still this day. I wish people would stop calling him old, he's not. There is a difference between a 50-year-old truck driver that drinks beer and eats chips every night while controlling his remote, and a 50-year-old that has danced all his life like Michael Jackson.

There's no reason to think that Michael wouldn't be able to dance amazingly at 50. I think we can all agree that Michael is a perfectionist; right? He's stated that himself, many times. I don't think a perfectionist would contemplate a concert residency if he honestly couldn't do the moves he's famous for and the fans would expect to see.
I know we are all ages here, but I honestly think the majority of people saying he wouldn't be able to move well because he's 50 are probably 25 or younger. I'm 41, and in many ways I move a LOT better than I did at 25. It's all about how you take care of yourself. Age is just a number.
