    lotus_sutra , paula-c & mjfansince4, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

    God, I love this place; there always is someone who thinks different, someone who can rise above the constrains of their own immediate emotional turmoil (some of us are 'ruled' by the extremes of our whirlwind temperaments <!-- s:oops: -->:oops:<!-- s:oops: --> ), someone who makes the other person on the throes of disappointment feel TONS better <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

    So I say, YAY, Bring on the snowglobes...'metaphorical' ones, of course! <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) --> <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

    haha you're welcome. the credit really goes to lotus_sutra for finding the correlation and paula-c for doing an excellent analysis. i just put in my two cents from what i've learned in my film aesthetics and communication classes. i love this place too! everyone here is so forward thinking- it just shows you how fascinating people are. how they find things you don't even think of and then once you think about it, it clicks! and thank you for posting the snow globe on here so we can figure out what layers of meaning are placed within it!

    Well guys, you assertion is Citizen Kane, and the meaning of Rosebud, .. Rosebud, that sled that sighs Kane in one of the best early I remember a film. Rosebud, lost childhood, unreachable happiness, how easy, the pure... Rosebud, repentance achieved adulthood to the important values that you can enjoy child. <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

    Hmmm...I suppose, this is more reinforcement about yesterday's snow globe in relation to Citizen Kane; sort of like, driving it home for those of us who failed to see the point on our first attempt & without help... <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

    [youtube:3qdw0j9r]

    Yes, the similarities are most intriguing, but since I haven't seen it myself, please tell me more about it, especially how the movie ends...

    I found this concluding passage in the at the wiki page plot summary (the highlights are my own as usual):

    " Thompson is unable to solve the mystery and concludes that "Rosebud" will forever remain an enigma. He theorizes that "Mr. Kane was a man who got everything he wanted, and then lost it: Maybe Rosebud was something he couldn't get, or something he lost." In the ending of the film, it is revealed to the audience that Rosebud was the name of the sled from Kane's childhood, from the time before he was taken from his parents and gained his wealth - an allusion to the only time in his life when he was really happy. The sled, thought to be junk, is destroyed by Xanadu's departing staff in a basement furnace. The film ends as it began, with a view of the "No Trespassing" sign posted on the fence of Xanadu indicating how little we actually know about people."

    Ok, now for just a few random thoughts (my specialty <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P --> )...First, I take people's word (the expert & fan reviews, I mean) for it when they say this was a "brilliant" movie. But it all sounds so terribly sad to me. I mean, this man who had had 'apparently' everything an average person longs for (I mean, on the 'materialistic' front, of course) spent an entire lifetime yearning for something that many of us take for granted; the security of a "normal" childhood (as I believe "Rosebud" is more the symbolic aspect rather than the actual sled itself). So much so, that his last thoughts were of the 'elusive utopia' that he desperately sought (perhaps his accumulation of wealth kept him busy & driven that he could temporarily escape from his fixation with the past: perhaps he believed that his wealth would assist him in finding what he lost in the past; maybe a bit of both) & failed to achieve. I wonder just how much of his "todays" he had been able to enjoy & how much he missed out on them because of his obsession with his "yesterdays". So, in that respect, the act of of the snow globe being broken signifies his ultimate respite from his own 'demons'; being finally free...Awwwwwww <!-- s:cry: -->:cry:<!-- s:cry: -->

    Human nature is so complex & multi-faceted that we always know far less about the other person (& sometimes even our own selves too) than what we imagine we do. There always is another surprise, another revelation, no matter how much we think we've got the other person 'figured out'. It's heart breaking that we are so busy with our lives that we are so ready to take everything at face value; so that it doesn't add to our own burdens & worries. But I don't think most people do it out of cruel, mean or unkind intents & spirits. For most of us, it's just an ingrained, unconscious habit. Thoughtless, yes, even inconsiderate yes, but not always evil. We all just happen to have our own demons to wrestle with & cherish, look forward to new 'avenues'/possibilities' for our own "escapades" too. I guess it wouldn't hurt us too much to try & be a little less selfish & self-absorbed. Our own personal universes may revolve around ourselves, but it courtesy of those 'others' around us that it keeps revolving at all. We should make time for celebrating the our differences, instead of merely focusing on & reveling in on our similarities (which does give us the sense of 'closure' that we all seek). Because those differences expand our mind, alter our thought processes & give room for change <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

    MJ always spoke of his yearning for an average childhood that he was cheated of. And he made no secret of the fact that the reason he was driven to try so hard with everything that he did was because he simply just wanted to receive more love. Because he missed out on it growing up, when he most needed it. Yes, we were pretty enthusiastic with our "ooooohs & aaaaaaahs", but maybe he needed something more, something in addition, something different. How much of his true self did/does he want to share with us & how much of his life did/does he wish to keep private? We never really did know the man we claim to love so, did we? <!-- s:( -->:(<!-- s:( --> It took "the news" of 25 June 2009 for us to explore & to understand his true depths & potential...

    I wish I knew what the significance of the snow globe breaking really means here...What does the "no trespassing" sign (shown both at the beginning & at the end) of the movie signify?...Just how long will the what really happened on 25.06.09 remain a mystery?...Is MJ going to remain (more or less) the enigma that he has always been?!?...Is the 'This Is It' movie meant to be his last, physical goodbye; the final curtain call?...What is our part & purpose in ALL THIS; how do we fit/figure into the "BIG picture" (as "BeLIEvers"/Messengers/"Soldiers"/"Moaners"/Seers/Investigators/Jurists/"Audience"/Applauders/Advocates for Truth&Change???)... <!-- s:?: -->:?:<!-- s:?: --> <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: --> <!-- s:?: -->:?:<!-- s:?: -->

    "Rosebud", that Word apparently meaningless, is transformed into a crystal ball and enclosing representation, with the children's House, with snow and the slopes of the mountain with the sledge that burns to conclude the representation, by way of further narrated and reconstructed testimony...

    This word means a lot: is rescued posthumous Word memory well. It is, the display of paradise lost.

    ZIsis and regarding your question if some day we will know that happened on 25/06/09, and that we are representing role in all this .. do not know, but one thing I am sure Michael's message is reaching its fans, not all, but many people who thought that he died, is thinking otherwise. <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

    Oscar Wilde criticizing realism vain intent only represent reality; that he had no merit and, in addition, with the passage of time would be credible and intelligible... For the great Irish author, the goal of art must be lies, is to show the beauty of false things (invented, fiction, ideal). Wilde defends the lie in art: beauty can only be represented lying and misrepresented the reality. There is no art without lie; is lying and poetry are arts... Even more radical, argues that in the long term life and nature imitate art and not the reverse, as it has been traditionally understood: "Look one thing is to see it." Do not see anything until it is not something your beauty. Then and only then the thing starts to exist. Now people see fog does not by itself, but because the poets and painters have shown the mysterious beauty of its effects. There probably has been fog for centuries in London... But none saw it so far, nor knew almost nothing of her "..." With these premises Oscar Wilde raised issues of great interest, for example the pre-eminence of the interpretation of the fact in itself, an interpretation of reality according to codes established, learned, including matters relating to quantum mechanics and the conditions for observation of phenomena. The reality is not necessarily as believe it to see, but which we interpret it or how represent it... - by acquiring full sense of artistic insights, an artistic, canon on purely naturalistic considerations need Wilde claim

    His utopia was a not materialistic artistic society by joy, pleasure, artistic imagination and invention, with time for reflection and the own expression values that uncontrollable reveal what still nature, life, art, they have not shown the car will... artistic expression momentum carried individual creativity and critical thinking...

    There are days in which a lie moves more than 100 wagons <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

    Belated highlights (for me) triggered from yesterday [ Sorry about being a tortoise here! <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> ]...
    life imitates art imitates life

    Oscar Wilde once said Life imitates art far more than art imitates Life. I beg to differ. I think it’s more of a vicious circle (or a glorious circle, depending on how you look at it.) It’s an equal-opportunity borrowing situation. Life imitates art. Simultaneously art imitates life. Each feeds into the other, each repetition coming up with more complexity in the process.

    Ya da, ya da, ya da....... [ quite 'strategic' examples from "movie" themes, of course, though! <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> ]

    This doesn’t just apply to movies though. It applies to all kinds of art. You just have to sit down and think through the art pieces you really like, read up on the history of that art or the biography of the artist. Eventually, I’m sure, you’ll find a link to something in real life that the art was inspired by. And eventually, you’ll find a link to something in real life that the art inspired. And so it goes.

    Thank you, TIAI twitter; I believe this helps to address my 'wanderings' from the previous night to some extent <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) --> Or at least, I don't feel quite as 'lost' anymore <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

    Since I'm feeling quite 'breezy' today, thought I'd just let "OUR MAN" do ALL the talking here, for a change <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> So, in no order of preference or relevance:

    "The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation."
    [ Awww, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! ]

    "And my goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance."

    "I love E. T. 'cos it reminds me of me. Someone from another world coming down and you becoming friends with them and this person is, like, 800 years old and he's filling you with all kinds of wisdom and he can teach you to fly. That whole fantasy thing which I think is great. I mean, who don't wanna fly?"
    - Interview in Smash Hits, January 20, 1983

    “Smooth, but not a criminal.”
    [ TOTALLY <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) --> I LIKE <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> ]

    "I’m a visionary and a creative person. God blessed me with certain talents. I hate to use an analogy, but Walt Disney was creative but not good with business. His brother Roy handled the books. He loved creating family-oriented entertainment and so do I. I feel that was a gift and I have that gift also. I’m very honored to have been chosen."

    "I don't read all the negative things they write about me such as I am weird and different. When you grow up in front of millions of people like I was since the age of 5, you can't help but be different."

    "I'm just like anyone. I cut and I bleed. And I embarrass easily."

    [ God, I LOVE his inimitable brand of refreshing "human-ness"!!! ]

    "Before you judge me, ask me about my childhood and then I'll ask you about yours..."
    [ Yes, think about the person staring back at you in the mirror! ]

    "People write negatives things, cause they feel that's what sells. Good news to them, doesn't sell."

    "Just because it's in print doesn't mean it's the gospel."

    "You know, let's put it this way, if all the people in Hollywood who have had plastic surgery, if they went on vacation, there wouldn't be a person left in town."

    [ Sorry if some of you object to this one, but I still love it, So it just had to be here! <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> ]

    "I'm trying to imitate Jesus in the fact that he said to be like children, to love children, to be as pure as children and to make yourself as innocent and to see the world through eyes of wonderment and the whole magical quality of it all."
    - Oprah Winfrey interview 1993.

    "Children show me in their playful smiles the divine in everyone. This simple goodness shines straight from their hearts and only asks to be lived."
    [ Agree, a 111%! <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> ]

    “I changed. People change.”
    [ Yes, we most definitely do, in so many different, infinitesimal, indescribable & uncountable ways! <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> ]

    "My goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance."

    "Because I wanted to have a place that I could create everything that I that I never had as a child. So, you see rides. You see animals. There's a movie theater."

    - Describing Neverland Ranch in California, CBS interview 2003.

    "The greatest education in the world is watching the masters at work."

    “I used to dream
    I used to glance beyond the stars
    Now I don't know where we are
    although I know we've drifted far
    What about yesterday
    What about the seas
    The heavens are falling down
    I can't even breathe
    What about the bleeding Earth
    Can't we feel its wounds
    What about nature's worth?
    It's our planet's womb.”

    [ A subject dearest to my own heart too...]

    "I wake up from dreams and go “Wow, put this down on paper.” The whole thing is strange. You hear the words, everything is right there in front of your face."

    "Lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons.""

    "Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it,
    No-one wants to be defeated,
    Showin' how funky and strong is your fight,
    It doesn't matter who's wrong or right."

    - Beat It, from album Thriller.

    "You wanna show them that you're really not scared,
    You're playing with your life, this ain't no truth or dare,
    They'll kick you then they'll beat you then they'll tell you it's fair,
    So beat it."

    - Beat It, from album Thriller.

    "Well they say the sky's the limit
    And to me that's really true
    But my friend you have seen nothing
    Just wait 'til I get through…
    Because I'm bad, I'm bad."

    - Bad, from the album Bad

    “I was a veteran, before I was a teenager.”
    [ I suppose that constitutes both the good & the not-so-good therein...]

    "Our parents taught us to always be respectful and, no matter what you do, to give it everything you have. Be the best, not the second best."
    - USA Today interview 2001.

    “There's a Mother's Day and there's a Father's Day, but there's no Children's Day. It would mean a lot. World peace.”

    "I'm happy to be alive, I'm happy to be who I am."
    [ Yes, do let's celebrate our "presents" & "todays" more! <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> ]

    "And the dream we were conceived in will reveal a joyful face... and the world we once believed in will shine again in grace. Then why do we keep strangling life wound this Earth, crucify its soul. Though it's plain to see, this world is heavenly. We could be God's glow... Heal the world."

    [ Another AWWWWWWW...ALL THE WAY! ]

    "People think they know me, but they don't. Not really. Actually, I am one of the loneliest people on this earth. I cry sometimes, because it hurts. It does. To be honest, I guess you could say that it hurts to be me."

    "Stars Don't Die

    "They say that some of the stars that you see overhead aren’t really there.
    Their light takes millions of years to reach us, and all we are doing is looking into the past, into a bygone moment when those stars could still shine.
    "So what does a star do after it quits shining?" I ask myself. "Maybe it dies."

    "I believe in doing better work. Just like the old saying, 'You don't get older, you get better.' "

    When Michael was asked in 1992 about how he would like his funeral to go, he said: “It’s going to be the greatest show on earth. That’s what I want. Fireworks and everything.”
    [ Yes, MJ, do PLEASE give us a "spectacular opening with pyrotechnics, and some sizzles and some cracks and some pops" & the LOUDEST BAM EVER of the BEST that we were promised & await! <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) --> <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> <!-- s:o -->:o<!-- s:o --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> <!-- s:shock: -->:shock:<!-- s:shock: --> <!-- s:mrgreen: -->:mrgreen:<!-- s:mrgreen: --> <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> ]

    JUST A FEW EXCERPTS FROM "MOONWALK"

    "I've always wanted to be able to tell stories, you know, stories that came from my soul. I'd like to sit by a
    fire and tell people stories - make them see pictures, make them cry and laugh, take them anywhere
    emotionally with something as deceptively simple as words. I'd like to tell tales to move their souls and
    transform them. I've always wanted to be able to do that. Imagine how the great writers must feel, knowing they have that power. I sometimes feel I could do it. It's something I'd like to develop. In a way, songwriting uses the same skills, creates the emotional highs and lows, but the story is a sketch. It's quicksilver. There are very few books written on the art of storytelling, how to grip listeners, how to get a group of people together and amuse them. No costumes, no makeup, no nothing, just you and your voice, and your powerful ability to take them anywhere, to transform their lives, if only for minutes."

    "Albums should be for all races, all tastes in music. In the end, many songs kind of create themselves. You just say, “This is it. This is how it's going to be."

    "I believe performers should try to be strong as an example to their audiences. It's staggering what a
    person can do if they only try. If you're under pressure, play off that pressure and use it to advantage and
    make whatever you're doing better. Performers owe it to people to be strong and fair. Often in the past performers have been tragic figures. A lot of the truly great people have suffered or died because of pressure and drugs, especially liquor. It's so sad. You feel cheated as a fan that you didn't get to watch them evolve as they grew older."

    "It always surprises me when people assume that something an artist has created is based on a true experience or reflects his or her own lifestyle. Often nothing could be farther from the truth. I know I draw on my own experiences at times, but I also hear and read things that trigger an idea for a song. An artist's imagination is his greatest tool. It can create a mood or feeling that people want to have, as well as transport you to a different place altogether."

    "To me, nothing is more important than making people happy, giving them a release from their problems and worries, helping to lighten their load. I want them to walk away from a performance I've done, saying, “That was great. I want to go back again. I had a great time.” To me, that's what it's all about. That's wonderful. That's why I don't understand when some celebrities say they don't want their kids in the business. I think they say that because they've been hurt themselves. I can understand that. I've been there too.

    -Michael Jackson-

    What one wishes is to be touched by truth and to be able to interpret that truth so that one may use what one is feeling and experiencing, be it despair or joy, in a way that will add meaning to one's life and will
    hopefully touch others as well. This is art in its highest form. Those moments of enlightenment are what I continue to live for."

    I have always questioned popular jurors so of fashion in society and I after the screening of this movie yet I reaffirm more in my convictions and thanks for not having to never participate in a similar show. Gives AWE that a gang as showing us some of these films have to decide on a person's life.

    The Caine Mutiny, or .. (The Mutiny of the people)

    The Caine crew reach the conclusion that his captain Queeg is not only incompetent but dangerous, since it has become insane auction. The official decided to mutiny is and take control of the ship after incontrovertible evidence of the madness of the head, accumulated for long travel and countless incidents. Shortly after the officers responsible for the mutiny are brought to a court martial.
    The naval lawyer enyesado arm you with great skill to the defence of the mutineers. Their task is difficult, because it is not easy to test the mental illness of Captain Queeg. This is, however, who comes in aid of the defence, as presented at the trial begins to reveal his madness front of the same court that presence astonished the deployment of a rampant paranoia. The mutineers are finally acquitted.

    Judgment Nuremberg

    Of the Prosecutor will see evidence of the atrocities committed by the nazis as eugenics, sterilization and extermination practices series. From Rolfe, we will listen to a speech which, inter alia, shows declarations the allies who were in favour of Hitler and his policies because it was that at the time they should be. The statements refer to Winston Churchill praised policies that was undertaken by Hitler and the U.s. Supreme Court issued a statement supported the eugenics which was undertaken in Germany.
    However, what is more important during the trial is the topic related to individual freedom, on if those judges could have been released or not against the laws of their country by moral imperatives. This results in a debate on whether a trial of this type should accuse last makers or all that German collaborated with the nazi regime.

    The final verdict can make something clear, and it is that the message of the film still alive, today more than ever. As said the judge Dan Haywood in the verdict at the end of the film, but this trial has shown that during a national crisis [a crisis like this, with low wages, high prices and high level of unemployment] people normal even able and exceptional men can trick if them to commit crimes so hideous and enormous excess as you can imagine. Anyone who has attended this trial may forget them never. Men sterilized because of their political ideas, friendship and trust cruelly flouted, the murder of children How much easily occurs. I recognize that in our country there are people speak of the protection of the homeland of survival. Comes a time in which every country must take a decision at the precise moment at which the enemy clings to his throat. Then it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy. We must survive as of all unscrupulous. In this case, I wonder: do survive as what? A nation is not a rock, nor is it an extension of one's own. It is the cause that defends, is that which defends when defending something is more difficult.

    I think this is what is most important of these films <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) -->

    REDEMPTION SONG - BOB MARLEY

    Old pirates, yes, they rob I;
    Sold I to the merchant ships,
    Minutes after they took I
    From the bottomless pit.
    But my hand was made strong
    By the 'and of the Almighty.
    We forward in this generation
    Triumphantly.
    Won't you help to sing
    This songs of freedom
    'Cause all I ever have:
    Redemption songs;
    Redemption songs.

    Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
    None but ourselves can free our minds.
    Have no fear for atomic energy,
    'Cause none of them can stop the time.
    How long shall they kill our prophets,
    While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
    Some say it's just a part of it:
    We've got to fullfil the book.

    Won't you help to sing
    This songs of freedom-
    'Cause all I ever have:
    Redemption songs;
    Redemption songs;
    Redemption songs.
    ---
    /Guitar break/
    ---
    Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
    None but ourselves can free our mind.
    Wo! Have no fear for atomic energy,
    'Cause none of them-a can-a stop-a the time.
    How long shall they kill our prophets,
    While we stand aside and look?
    Yes, some say it's just a part of it:
    We've got to fullfil the book.
    Won't you have to sing
    This songs of freedom? -
    'Cause all I ever had:
    Redemption songs -
    All I ever had:
    Redemption songs:

    Today it's :

    [youtube:1z7tfxdp]

    A funny thing happened tonight...

    TIAI twitter page updates itself around 4:30 a.m my time usually & tonight I had to keep refreshing the page more than usual because it was a bit late by quite a few minutes (hmmm, have a look here: http://michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=8077 ). I had several other windows open as well (again, as usual for me; no wonder I have so much pc trouble often, huh! <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P --> Well, that & my natural ineptitude at "techie-stuff", of course <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> ). Anyway, one of them (an MJ site, of course) had a chatango chatbox on it. There was a time I was addicted to them myself, but theses days, I try to avoid chat because it takes so much time & there are so many self-appointed "categories" of friends-who-are-MJ fans, that it can get quite stressful to keep up with them all at once sometimes (although I still do it occasionally even now). In order to be able to be just me & to avoid getting 'swept away' with everything/everyone else, I avoid signing in mostly nowadays. I was quite thrilled by the latest post there. I don't think the site is all that important here, So I won't mention it. But the subject had something to do with the incident of MJ dancing on top of car back during the 2005 trial (sigh-sigh-sigh, there's something about that one...such a "bold statement" that it awakens & converses directly to all that which is "primal female" in me! <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P --> <!-- s:oops: -->:oops:<!-- s:oops: --> <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> )!!! So, after reading/watching it, the way I was feeling, I just couldn't leave without popping in to say hello to all in there <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: --> <!-- s:oops: -->:oops:<!-- s:oops: --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> Because I had been in there once before too, I was just making random conversation with some of them (after I went all Ga-Ga over the video, of course <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> ), when one of them just all of a sudden said: "You can't win". It was actually quite funny at that time because I had just mentioned how I was disappointed over the 'uneventful' "fool's day" & finished it on a note like "but, I'll live" etc <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> I asked her if I should be worried because I had thought her comment alluded to mine somehow (I think it was a natural assumption on my part because I was doing the talking before her ??? 'unrelated' comment out of the blues!). It didn't even register on my brain to make "The Wiz" connection until she told me so herself!! Even then, it didn't seem like such a big deal (given the 'randomness' & 'cyclonic' nature of our "typical" MJ thoughts/feelings etc, I mean <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P --> ) because TIAI twitter page hadn't updated itself by then. We chit-chatted for bit more (I kept refreshing TIAI twitter through out, by the way) & I think it was closing in on about 10 minutes LATER that the TIAI twitter page updated itself. Imagine my SHOCK when it was this, MJ's "You can't win" from The Wiz!!! <!-- s:shock: -->:shock:<!-- s:shock: --> <!-- s:o -->:o<!-- s:o --> <!-- s:shock: -->:shock:<!-- s:shock: --> Of course I immediately asked the person who made the out of place comment if she was aware of the TIAI twitter page. I think I made her uncomfortable with my questions/suggestive remarks about TIAI & TS (you know, along the lines of, "do you know him/her who is behind this", "do you think that this 'TS' is here on this chat window" etc etc kind of thing. Somehow, I just didn't/don't think she was "him/her/it" behind both TIAI sites though). She told me that she didn't know why it happened & that it was probably "just an odd coincidence", "may be just a shared feeling" & something else along the lines of "maybe people of his genius somehow 'sense' things about him because he's so 'connected' to the outpouring of feelings/LOVE for him" etc (that last one wasn't a direct quote, but the main gist of it). I don't get it at all <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> <!-- s:?: -->:?:<!-- s:?: --> <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> I know, it's all very beautiful, sweet & 'noble' in theory, but I mean, does that kind of thing happen on a regular basis FOR REAL <!-- s:?: -->:?:<!-- s:?: --> <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: --> <!-- s:?: -->:?:<!-- s:?: --> Also, please check out the "general consensus" on the forum link I've posted here too.

    Maybe it's just me; maybe I just don't get "psychic-isms & telepathy whazzits", maybe my "faith" wavers with time & 'disappointments', maybe the general "mistrust" going around everywhere of late is rubbing off on me too, maybe I'm just discovering/forming a new cynical side of my own, maybe I'm trying too hard, too desperately, to read too much into "ALL this", I just don't know... <!-- s:( -->:(<!-- s:( -->

    Anyway, here are the lyrics. And this time, let's please try to interpret it not just with our hearts, but also with a bit of our minds too, hmmm <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

    You Can't Win -Michael Jackson (from "The Wiz")

    You can't win
    You can't break even
    And you can't get out of the game
    People keep sayin'
    Things are gonna change
    But they look just like
    You're stayin' the same

    You get in
    way over your head
    And you only got yourself to blame
    You can't win Child
    (You can't win Child)
    You can't break even
    And you can't get out of the game

    You can't win
    The world keeps movin'
    And you're standin' far behind
    People keep sayin'
    Things'll get better
    (Just to ease your state of mind)
    (So you lean back, and you smoke that smoke)
    (And you drink your glass of wine)
    Say you can't win, Child
    You can't break even
    And you can't get out of the game

    You can't win, you can't win no way
    If your story stays the same
    (You ain't winnin'),
    No, no,
    (But it's nice to see you)
    (I'm awfully glad you came)
    (Better cool it 'cause
    It ain't about losin')
    And the world has got no shame
    You can't win, Child
    You can't break even
    You can't get out of the game

    You can't win
    You can't break even
    Ain't the way it's supposed to be
    (You'll be spendin'),
    No, no
    (Your little bit of money)
    While someone else rides for free
    (Learn your lesson), ooh,
    (Refuel your mind)
    (Before some turkey blows out your flame)

    You can't win, Child. No!
    You can't win
    You can't win, Child. No!
    You can't win
    You can't win, Child. No!
    You can't win
    You can't win, Child. No!
    You can't win

    You can't win, Child
    You can't break even
    And you can't get out of the game
    You can't get out of the game
    You can't get out (wooh!) of the game
    No, no...

    TIAI Twitter, if you are reading this, please know that I think this definitely was NOT a "feel-good-er" at all (just a touch "too ambiguous" for my liking) & you had better not be 'fooling around' ("fool's day" is gone for now <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P --> ) or laughing at us here!?! (with L.O.V.E, of course <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> ). If you really do have "good intentions" & wish to keep us "interested" for longer, please try to do better next time, ok? (again with LOVE, with or without the dots!) <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P --> <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) -->

    Can't wait to hear how the rest of you regard this one too...

    But one thing I do know for sure is that this whole business of "What really happened to MJ on 25.06.09" doesn't run dry of odd/strange/weird "coincidences" at all, does it!?! <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

    Here's to SOLID ANSWERS & PROOFS (as opposed to just tantalising "hints & cues" <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> ) this time!!!
    <!-- s:P -->:P<!-- s:P --> <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

    L.O.V.E & LOVE ALL THE WAY!
  • Hi <!-- s:) -->:)<!-- s:) --> Don't often post but always read. I agree this wasn't a feel gooder <!-- s:( -->:(<!-- s:( --> i've always felt strange about this scene in the movie. But one thing that struck me that i feel i should add here and why i am posting. Yesterday was Good Friday- also known as Holy Friday, Black Friday, Great Friday, is a holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Is it just me or does MJ look like he's crucified on the cross in the video <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> .... just sayin...
