    Michael Jackson is one busy guy. Amazing.
  • Rita Hayworth, I agree to some extend. You`ve stated some convincing thoughts (especially in your pre-previous post).

    And right, the "Peter Lopez case" should not be underestimated, although I`m not quite sure yet what to think of it ...

    GREAT NEWS!!!

    I think they (or MJ?) waited to release this news because they knew Sony would sign a deal like we all know about <!-- s:twisted: -->:twisted:<!-- s:twisted: -->

    MIchael, you're the greatest!!
  • When I'm less sleepy I'm going to read this whole thread cause this seems to be great news! <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

    So...now that MJ, KOP died, he won't be able to call himself THIS on any future endeavors(especially, so as not to confused people , as to what is prior to "death" and since "death". Is he...uh...taking a completely different name, or what? New logos, new look, and everything?

    Many of you laugh about Sony getting stuck holding old unreleased stuff which MJ, for some reason didn't choose to release, at all, up to "dying", as if you believe it's just some leftovers and who cares?, but some of the hottest, and coolest and some of the most beautiful "leftovers" keep showing up on re-released albums...

    I <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> hope Sony doesn't divvy them out one or two at a time, packaged with songs I have many copies of already, but I will get my hot little hands on EVERYthing he ever did, no matter what label it's on, EVEN if they are putting them, a single at a time, in boxes of Cocoa Puffs!!! Each creative effort, whether HE <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: --> thought they weren't his best work or what, tells more of the story of what is in the depths his <!-- s8-) -->8-)<!-- s8-) --> Songbird Heart ...I love this <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: --> I want it all. <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D -->

    WELL I DON'T THINK THIS ALBUM WAS RECORDED IN 2007 BECAUSE MJ WAS IN BAHRAIN AFTER HIS TRIAL N WAS PLANNING TO SETTLE IN THERE N WAS ALSO NEGOTIATING BUSINESS WITH PRINCE OF BAHRAIN. IMO THIS ALBUM MIGHT HAVE BEEN RECORDED AFTER HIS DEATH HOAX N I DON'T BUY THAT HE HAS RECORDED HIS ALBUM IN 2007.

    To my best knowledge he was in Bahrain in 2006, and in Ireland recording in 2007.

    wasn't that the will.i.am sessions in ireland in some old castle in the middle of nowhere? where they just 'kicked some grooves around'? i think there is some footage on that on youtube somewhere.

    edit: the ireland recording session with will.i.am was also in 2006, just checked...

    of course sony has to make money for a while and it's def no mistake to at least listen to whatever mike produced musically. but at some point, sony's source is gonna die out and all they will have left is re-runs. my take is also, that there will be quite a number of albums where they gonna put old and new stuff together. i srsly doubt that there will be a whole album with just new material on there. they won't shoot out all their ammunition at once. and since they know that the die-hard fans will even buy a whole cd with just 2 or 3 new songs, they can keep their money machine going for a while...
    it's called merchandise... <!-- s:mrgreen: -->:mrgreen:<!-- s:mrgreen: -->

    An Irish friend of mine told me he also recorded songs with a Celtic sound. I wonder when that will come out.
    It seems as if he has been experimenting with different styles in preparation for the passing of the "King of Pop" which probably had worn thin at his age and for his talent, which goes beyond "pop music".
    Have you seen Lady Gaga on the cover of Time? Do you think it's a coincidence that all of a sudden she's the reigning queen of pop now that MJ is gone and Madonna is getting older?
    We'll be hearing a lot of different things from Michael that he couldn't put out due to the negative publicity associated with him and his prior image. Many people have stated that the 80s image was the one that appeared at the Memorial and the Funeral.

    Ok, guys you're getting me all excited although I know I should just chill, lol! <!-- s:lol: -->:lol:<!-- s:lol: -->

    I don't believe "Water" is really a song if we are to judge by what's in TII. On another forum someone mentioned that "Wooee" could also be a new song (Michael taking a ride on the lift thing) hahahah! <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> <!-- s;) -->;)<!-- s;) --> As to the estate, they're the one handling Michael's money/assets why would he want to put them on the spot?

    I think it is a bit ( <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: --> WAAAAAY) uncharacteristic for Michael Jackson to become intimidated into changing his winning style to FOLLOW trends, when he's always been THE trailblazer/trend SETTER. He has created some of the most TIMELESS, classic and beautiful music, EVER (not even to mention his golden touch and interpretation/ arrangement of songs written for him or by others!). If it doesn't scoop you out of your seat and make your backbone slip, it moves you to real tears. None of this came from his trying to be pop-ular.

    You know? His not being 29 any more has

    NO thing

    to do with jack-anything. Trick dog and pony acts copycats have been vying to short-cut to something like the King (of Pop)'s Crown and position for decades. Keep dreaming, wannabees. His genius is in his LEADING and going with what HE pulled out of the sky and liked, not what was popular at the time. He SET popular, by creating hunger in people for HIS <!-- s:D -->:D<!-- s:D --> unique style...sigh.

    I haven't listened ON PURPOSE, to anything but Oldies (CLASSIC 60s, 70s, 80s, SOME 90s) since 2004. I spend ALL my time in the car pushing the tune/scan buttons. <!-- s:( -->:(<!-- s:( --> There has been nothing on the radio for years, which has really "pollenated" my being.

    On the other hand, it makes my soul HAPPY, and I long to hear the likes of songs I cut my baby teeth on: classic Marvin Gaye, Beatles, Eddie Holman, Casinos, Delfonics, Carpenters, Mikey, Mikey, Mikey! Mostly everything else is just noise and sex without the mystique of even an awkward attempt at romance (let alone social consciousness or depth of purpose). <!-- s:roll: -->:roll:<!-- s:roll: -->

    Change can be good... if something is broke .

    I'll be so disappointed to find NO Michael Jackson in "MJ" any more. (Will I even know you, <!-- s:? -->:?<!-- s:? --> Doll?) I don't want to appear to be holding him BACK; just holding (the) him (I like <!-- s:( -->:(<!-- s:( --> ), <!-- s:oops: -->:oops:<!-- s:oops: --> CLOSE...

    All I wanna say is: If it ain't broke, don't F (fix <!-- s:wink: -->:wink:<!-- s:wink: -->) with it!!!!

    Will.i.am was also with MJ in Ireland in 2008. He tweeted about it recently as Will.i.am was in Dublin last week at a gig and he tweeted that "this time last year i was in an irish cottage with Michael Jackson"
